It’s definitely possible especially since the synopsis of Rebirth says that they find a sinister and shocking discovery. That discovery might be about Disease X and information about it from the 1990’s. Maybe InGen created the disease or something and that’s why it’s sinister.
I wish dinosaurs learn to adapt then kill them off, it is terrible direction tbh, I'd love to see dinosaurs living in different climate like in the cold area, swampy biome, desert, jungle, forests, plains, meadows and so on, also smaller species in the urban and suburban areas, so yeah
Yeah I put this together months ago. Part of a massive comment I posted to BestInSlot’s channel was featured in a video discussing the “sinister secret” of Rebirth. The dinosaurs are 100% being quarantined in uninhabited, equatorial tropical zones
I agree with everything most cause this makes more sense than the Dino’s just randomly moving to the equator and a side note I’m call this new era that the new Jurassic film is in the rebirth era
6:50 that makes so much sense, the dinosaurs are already threatening the natural ecosystem with the modern animals so the government had to put them in certain places and they don't cause too much disruption
Personally I think a company in the Jurassic universe sometime after the events of dominion made the disease that is killing the dinosaurs and everyone thinks that it is caused by the dinosaurs and the only place that the dinosaurs can survive is the equator
My theory. As we know in both the books and the main 2 original movies the dinosaurs have to eat food rich in lysine, this is because they suffer from lysine contingency and if they dont find any lysine then the dinosaurs fall into a coma and die. So i think the dinosaurs are dying and moving to the equator because that is full of rainforests that have plants rich in lysine. My other theory could be linked to prions, which was also in the second book, and basically, the herbivores were slowly dying out due to these prions and they would critically destroy the dinosaurs food chain and that could be why the people are trying to find a cure. Thanks for reading this.
I don't think half of this fan base knows what an endotherm actually is. An endotherm is an animal that is able to regulate its own body temperature. In other words, they're warm-blooded. Every mammal alive today is an endotherm, including you! But that does not mean you can suddenly thrive in an entirely different climate than what you're used to. The dinosaurs dying out because of the climate is actually reasonable. They just weren't able to adapt fast enough.
They were literally engineered to already be adapted to almost every climate on Earth. Attenborough wanted there to be Jurassic Parks all over the planet, but you can't do that if the animals can't survive anywhere but the equator. The only way he could've been planning other parks is if he knew they could survive, and the only he would've known that is if he had ordered Wu to engineer their DNA to allow them to
Endothermic was used as an example. That’s why some, like the Apatosaurus, are seen thriving in colder climates. As explained in Camp Cretaceous A creature with Endotherm has a bonus feature essentially since they can adapt to more place than those without who cannot adapt to cold climates as much
What are you, a biologist, I work in marine biology, endotherm function is any temperature cos they can adapt to climate because of the endothermic physiological dynamic thermoregulation. My god, get the degree before speaking
Um, so the potential issue with the plot I see with what you put forward is if humanity is deliberately wiping out all of the dinosaurs (of all shapes and size) because of disease, why do they need to go to an island where there are more dinos to extract DNA? They would already have plenty of specimens to pick through. And why would they need a soldier-of-fortune to lead a team to get it? Not knocking ScarJo's character here, but, if this is supposed to be a medical mystery wrapped around forced dinosaur migration, wouldn't there be more of a medical team involved? I dunno, I don't want to jump to any conclusions before it comes out.
I wonder if we will get any information on what happens to Rexy and Blue? Though I think that could be better on the TV show when it comes out, depending on when it's set, I'm not sure.
The whole disease thing could be a virus that evoved during the Mesozoic era and died out duing the exitnction. Now that the Dinosaurs are ressurected, one of those diseases is back and is now posing a threat to humanity. To be honest, that is a plot point that I can really get along with and except as a plausable and realistic idea. certianly more so than a swarm of locusts killing a crop field. i have toadmit though, i'm not sure about this whole, 'Humans killing off the Dinosaurs' idea. We the humans are supposed to be suffering for our ignorance at this point as part of crichton's whole message with Jurassic Park. Surely Keopp would understand that. While it isn't official, it just dosen't ring right.
I hope the dinosaurs bounce back having them on the mainland is awesome and can be soooo unique plus what was the point of the last 3 movies if we can't have dinosaurs in the wild
Plot hole - In the original Jurassic Park The dinosaurs were bred to be lyseen deficient, so if they over got off the island, they would die after 7 days without lyseen. JP 2 confirmed they were able to survive on the island because of agma beans and soy naturally growing on the island, which the herbivores ate and the carnivores ate the herbivores. So, how are they able to survive anywhere in the world?
@joshuavis2736 it is unclear if it failed. According to the movies the dinosaurs remained on the island until JW2 with no explanation on how they are surviving
@@rhyscomer9377 I’d have to argue that it did fail because the dinosaurs found a way and survived on their own, they should’ve been dead if the contingency succeeded . Even if it was still in use, I don’t see why they wouldn’t just keep eating lysine rich diets as they did on Isla Serna
@joshuavis2736 that's exactly my point. How are they surviving if they are supposed to be dependent on lyseen. As you say, some dinosaurs may be living in lyseen rich areas, but not all of them. You could assume it was but Henry Woo being the lead geneticist you think he would implement some sort of contingency
