Regarding Trump standing behind Hilary. It was shortly after the Access Hollywood tape and I wish she had turned to him and said something to the effect of, "Don't stand behind me creep." Her supporters, the women in the country would have gone bonkers. It would have been THE pivotal moment of her campaign. I remember screaming at the TV to do something but she let the moment pass. It was a lost moment and a huge mistake.
Hillary is not Harris. Hillary was raised with a silver spoon. Harris is a fighter and a common person and knows how to stand up to Trump or guys like Trump. Her advisors recognize this and created a great strategy.
I think Hillary just had too much class to do something so low rent . That was before we all realized how low rent the orange chump is !

Kelly is NOT the best choice. No executive experience and not nearly as articulate as other choices. Also, we can’t afford to lose a senator in a swing state. Tim Walz, a very sharp regular guy and governor of an important state, would be best.
I agree. I've heard several respected former political campaign managers mention his lackluster speeches. But what they just said - governors cannot be given campaign contributions? - kind of eliminates all but Pete. This is very confusing.

As for Kelly, it would be great to have a person with a scientific background as a VP. It is very satisfying to see Harris' aggressive and direct approach. VP Harris already said she would bring back the bipartisan immigration bill and sign it - she made that exact point last night in her speech in Atlanta.

Interesting choices. As much as I like the idea of an astronaut (or someone who deeply understands the value of science and NASA), Sen. Kelly didn't sign the PACT Act, and doesn't seem to be a staunch supporter of unions. As for Gov. Shapiro, sadly, he said some pretty harsh things about the folks protesting the genocide of Palestinians. Since those issues are important to voting blocks VP Harris is trying to court, it seems like Govs. Walz and Bashear would be better choices.
Call your local Voter Registration Office and check on the status of your vote and check it often. 💙💙💙

I always wondered why the moderator did not tell Trump to stand behind his podium rather than stalk Clinton on the debate stage.
To this day it infuriates me, she should have addressed the Moderator and stopped the clock and told that "brat" to get back to his place like any Teacher would have !

You meet a bully eye to eye. None of this “we go high when they go low” is bullshot. Being TRUTHFUL is very important, but the only way you stop bully is giving it right back to them. Ignoring them makes it worse.
Exactly. That’s what people like Trump expect - that decent people will ignore the weird behaviour and stay silent. Those days are done. Call out the lies, don’t get caught up when Trump starts his gish gallop (if the Criminal vs, the Prosecutor happens), throw his weird behaviour and thinking and criminal behaviour right back at him. We also need MI and WI but they're looking good for us too. Even NV which seemed to have slipped away is back in our column. Feeling hopeful after accepting a defeat with Biden. I am looking at somebody who can speak flexibly, intelligently, and with passion.
I think Mark Kelly is a great guy, but I don’t think he would be able to go toe to toe with either Trump or Vance in the same way that Walz will.
