Its unbelievable how strong DoT team has become. They’re silently aging like wine. They got a 5 star LC in Herta shop, got a dedicated set that’s comparable to quantum set, and is relatively easy to build. Kafka team has already been competitive and flexiblenwith just 4 star companions. BS is just her first 5 star DoT teammate and it dominates the game
To be fair you are never using solitary healing on either black swan or kafka but everything else I agree with. Edit: Realized the irony of saying this under a video of kafka using solitary healing -_-. The energy regen build is legit in pf but for moc as a general build gnsw should still be better most of the time unless you know wat you're doing

My luck is just forcing me to go DoT Team. Won all three 50/50’s and got Ruan Mei, Kafka and recently got early Black Swan and her LC. Every damn time I try to pull a character that isn’t DoT-related, I have to ready up my guarantee or I would just lose it. I JUST WANNA PLAY QINGQUE MAN 😭😭😭

Lots of people compare her damage with Dan Heng Il and said she is suck but they couldnt see there is no other DOT 5 star yet, all other DoT is 4 star and their dps are already insane. @@AIA222-yu5ml I was always on the part that Kafka was gonna be S+ from her own ability to sheer exploit different unit's output and combining it with her insane damage, just a test of time until they gave someone kafka can enable from even more, imo her ability to take things from other units and "make it her damage" is for me what makes her more valuable and S+ in specialist class, and while she's on the throne Black Swan is sorta standing right next to her. I see it more like Kafka is making the peanut butter and jelly sandwich by fusing her own DOT manipulation and Black Swan, and then feast on it all with her damage

Kafka is more valuable than Black Swan because Kafka's kit will work for any future 5 star DoT releases as well. But I do agree putting them together is perfect synergy.
Like sure, but Prydewen doesn't include future value in their tier lists to my knowledge. So what he's talking about, the narrative that Kafka is right now better than Swan, just isn't necessarily true imo.
Kafka is definitely more valuable than black swan, she is the bread in the pb&j, black swan is an amazing character and certainly helps Kafka and vice versa. Until Kafka gets power crept, She is the irreplaceable in DOT teams and when new DOT characters come out, Kafka will still be the driving force of those teams.
Disagree with you on this one, Kafka is definitely a much much better pull just by being the enabler of a specific playstyle. Every single future dot character that comes later in future that doesnt have the ability to trigger their dots Kafkas value will keep increasing tremendously while for a dps type character like Black Swan will relatively stay the same, Kafka still is and will be the most optimal dps partner for the future dps characters, where characters like black swan depend on her for their max dps potential.
This is the reason why I pulled for Topass and Kafka. 1. They'll age like fine wine when more FUA and DoT characters get released 2. They're hot 3. They're so hot 4. They're hot, have I already told you they're hot? 5. Just love how the devs gave them 2 huge personalities. But tbh, about Kafka vs BlackSwan, ye they're the same value. Its like Kafka raises the damage ceiling while Blackswan raises the damage floor if you get what I mean.
That break effect Kafka build is something. Now I want to try that one. Kafka is such a fun character to play and build, hypercarry, dot, follow-up, break effect she does everything.
I 100% get what you are saying about their "value" being equal, I will say, that if you release another dot dps like black swan, in another element, if it does not retrigger its own dots or retrigger at all, "SPECIFICALLY FOR RUNNING DOT", i would say having kafka on your account probably holds more value, unless its like a dot support to replace ruan mei, then you run the 3 dot units. The way I personally look at it, as stand alone units for the future, black swan offers more general value as she is a debuffer (with damage) and a wind dps, but for dot comps, I would say Kafka will be more versatile, as she can use future 5 star dot dps like she did with luka, sampo and guianfen. overall tho, as it stands, they make each other amazing
I think this is the best way to interpret the value statement. Both kafka and black swan scale with more DoT units, kafka just scale harder. You can make DoT units that may not benefit black swan that much but it’s basically impossible to make one that won’t benefit kafka. Either the venn diagram of kafka mains and black swan mains is a circle.

What you said is valid but they can do other things as well. It depends on what direction they want to take it. Notice how Black swan has certain parts of her kit that Kafka cannot take advantage off, now imagine they make an even more extreme version of that with more damage on the enemy turn and less outside of that. Or they could have more powerful buffs/debuffs that only work on the enemy turn. This would inherently have less synergy with Kafka but it also depends on the numbers. I think it's very possible to get more of this type of mechanics considering that this is the nature of DoT. Another point is that I don't think they want to make Kafka the end all be all of DoT because it would hurt sales in the long run.
@@smexxxxy yes and no.... Black Swan is a very extreme case. I don't expect another retrigger or unit that buffs natural dot for a while, unless hoyo is specifically trying to make dot meta. The other thing, is that hoyo controls reruns. Just like they have now, rerunning Kafka before dropping a dot unit, or Sparkle before Dan heng. They do it all the time in genshin too. Because it "forces" fomo, it's super predatory, but it's pretty normal for them. You might be right, but I do think that the power ceiling would need to be a lot higher to sell a unit that makes natural dot (dot that goes off during the opposing turn) In such a case I probably think we drop RM and run all 3.

It's literally new meta, hoyo is adding more and more comp variety to the game besides the hypercarry supremacy, after they did some novel stuff with main DPS mechanics like Blade, Dan IL and Jingliu. Now there's Ruan Mei for dual DPS, improved DoT and follow-up attack meta, and soon Acheron for nihilty-based DPS comps. I like where this is going.
Honestly Kafka being so versatile is what makes her so fun. Honestly probably gonna farm for an ER rope after seeing this, getting the arcana stacks up and keeping the energy flowing is nuts.
Kafka is so versatile some people use her on Follow Up teams with Dr. Ratio and Topaz. She might not be the best in most categories other than DoT, but rarely do we see DPS units that can be slotted in so many kinds of teams depending on her build. She is the most synergistic DPS/Enabler unit I've seen so far in the game, that I'm considering getting her LC in a rerun.

I’m not sure if I’m yapping or on to something here but when black swan ults her stacks count as all type of DOT including burn which mean quin can brac them with her ult I tested it and keep getting different numbers so I’m not sure 😅😂 plus idk if ppl have already tested or confirmed it haha just wanna see if it’s real as it can help f2ps a lot

I agree with u they are both really solid units on there own and extremely versatile units in different formats. BS being a solid supportive unit with her def shred and Kafka as dps unit as she is very consistent. Now in general use BS is probably more valuable with her supportive capabilities since she has def shred, but if we are talking about dot teams then I am of the camp that Kafka is the more valuable unit. This is because Kafka will most likely be the best partner for every dot character going forward because no one does what Kafka does. So if u are investing in dot teams she is the most important unit as she drives all of them. They work well without her in the team but she elevates them to new heights with her on them. Now having her and BS u are basically winning because I believe her to be and Incredible support for dot characters that is elevated further by having Kafka. I can definitely see a future where we have a meta mono dot team with the core units being Kafka and BS. Just because there kits mesh so well and probell each other to amazing hights. I do wanna correct u on the Dr. Ratio bit. Kafka does work with Dr. Ratio. I use them quite frequently together as she is able to ably 2 debuffs in her kit and u can get a 3rd with her signature or using Lukas. Works very well as cleans up ads and enables Dr. Ratio to deal with the elite enemy. Have not tried it with Black Swan yet as she is still under construction but I believe she will probably be the better pair with Dr. Ratio due to her def shred which will increase Dr. Ratios personal dmg
i feel black swan is in a way the ruan mei of the dot character, blck swan with any other dot unit will make wonder and with kafka it's crazy... both become stronger together. it's like a perfect match at this point. plus if you add ruan mei this is like a dream team.... in some content they can simply break the balance at this point.

I think both are similarly positioned in a way to take advantage of a less versatile version of their counterpart; either a BS that can't turn her DoT into all other DoT types and perhaps sacrifices her debuffer utilities for more personal damage or a Kafka that only retriggers one basic DoT type and maybe sacrifices personal DoT damage for higher DoT retrigger %. Which is more likely to occur is completely up to you. Something that might become relevant is BS's DoT is always Wind damage no matter what type of DoT its being treated as where as Kafka doubles any type of damage so long as its a DoT. So Kafka might be positioned in a way to handle different damage types better than BS. But then again BS gets resist pen for her E1 😅

You're really telling me they would make a 5 star limited character depend on ANOTHER 5 star limited character? @YuraFaghot I mean I have paid attention to leaks and a damage dealer tends to be less valuable than enablers such as kafka leak warning! Acheron has been leaked to be a crit focused nihility character that builds stacks of debuffs and then releases a giant ult at max stacks(not being able to generate energy) There is a reaosn they released the Debuff set and it wasn't just for dr ratio

after getting kafka on my alt account during her rerun, i’ve had so much playing her. my main is the standard crit build characters, no kafka/actual dot play. so when black swan’s banner came out i was hoping to get enough to pull for her. luckily, i was able to get her 43 pulls after getting kafka! i’m so excited to build her and pair them up. i’m now just waiting for a ruan mei rerun and my dot team will be complete! i will get kafka on my main account too during her 3rd rerun!
Kafka is more "valuable" than Black Swan because she has a universal utility called *DETONATE* which enables literally ALL DoT damage in this game. Black Swan is ONLY (mostly) a pure DOT DPS unit. She does not have a *UNIQUE UTILITY* in the same league as Kafka's DETONATE. Black Swan uses ONLY WIND SHEAR to deal damage. Kafka uses EVERY DOT TYPE IN THE GAME to do damage through DETONATE. In other words, You can quite literally fit Kafka in EVERY dot team, *Ever,* and she will elevate that team, despite the fact that she herself is lightning. This is the functional difference between the two, and this is why Prydwen placed Kafka in S+ tier and NOT Black Swan. It's literally not that complicated people, please use your brain slightly, and see the whole picture these units fit in ffs.
The Kafka simps are delusional. It’s black swan’s archetype now. Kafka is elemental coverage. Black swan is a transcendent character for the archetype. You can use other detonators, as you have shown us. Of course this is all in respect to the real queen Ruan mei being tier 0. Black swan sits right next to Topaz for owning a whole archetype.
How the fuck do people get relics with 11 speed. Ive probably spent over 10000 energy and several million credits into the DOT relic set trying to optimize dot relics and can never get both attack and speed substats to level up more than twice.

I honestly like your 0 cycles more than Mr chokke because you actually explain things and not have to use s5 BiS light cones in every single scenario. But I would like your opinion on some speed thresholds and tuning that I should aim for with Kafka, Black Swan, Ruan Mei and Luocha for general MoC clears. Does Kafka have to go after black Swan if Kafka has hyperspeed (162 Speed on Kafka and 137 on Black Swan)? What exactly should be the proper tuning for good efficiency. I use Ruan Mei with vonwaq so she still goes first but after that Kafka goes next then Luocha and Black Swan at last. I feel like this is scuffed so I would like to understand what speed to achieve for each unit. Also I don't have Kafka's sig lc. I use GNSW. I just don't know if I should drop the speed on Kafka so that she can go after Black Swan and increase Swan's speed to 150. Something like 150 speed Black Swan and 147 speed Kafka sounds better. Then luocha at 143 so he can re trigger kafka's follow up.
Just got immense luck. Got Kafka in the last banner, and this banners, over the course of around 35 pulls, I got Black Swan, E1 Bronya and and DHIL. After that, the next standard pull I got Bailu's Light cone (ok, I was at around 75 pity but its was still a fun experience). Now I have too many characters to focus on...
Great Showcases as usual Gacha. I can't speak for others but as of right now; Kafka's power level grows with DOT characters power level. Ignoring Kafka's appearance...change her to a dude and she will still be the more valuable component to DOT compositions. My Kafka isn't even built with DMG...Just speed, energy and break.
Smack, if a DoT unit better than Swan comes out (assuming for some reason you can't drop the harmonies/sustain), who do you drop? Swan or Kafka? Imo, you drop Swan to match the weaknesses, not Kafka. Does that mean Kafka is better than Swan? No. It means Kafka is a ridiculous force amplifier in DoT teams - one, with investment, I'd never run without. If I got a Fire/Physical black swan, I could see myself dropping Swan to match weaknesses before dropping Kafka. I'm probably dipping at the start here because this video isn't really relevant to me (I'm way over invested in both units), but just the intro rubbed me the wrong way. Needlessly confrontational, I dunno where on the internet you're going to get so riled up (maybe you're running into people saying Swan is trash without Kafka? idk) but you need to chill.
I was afraid to do a sustainless comp on second side of moc floor 11 but tried it after watching this video. Eventhough I can't 0 cycle it it's amazing that I managed to clear it without a sustainer.
I've just melted Level 8 VirtualR with Kafka and Swan without any eidolons, some skillpoints missing and Musketeer equip. Those were just 2 DOT ticks enough to complete final phase
Really love how all the damage types are becoming almost like factions relevant in the meta - there's the follow up nation, hypercarry annihilation, DoT domination, and dual dps demise
It's a shame your Tingyun isn't Level 20 or you could be proving all those Sustainer users wrong. And are there any creators that do 0 cycles artistically with 2 or 3 characters dying? I've let only Dr. Ratio and Kafka go past Level 20 and MOC has been intense.
Day one player and still no sampo light cone it’s insane ,currently using silver wolf event light cone so I can hit the 120 effect hit rate threshold but it lacks dmg my black swan has 3.1k atk and 120 effect hit rate currently building my sampo cause I don’t have Kafka. My only problem is keeping up arcana I think I’m to dumb for it 😂😂😂
“Meta” is now Hyper carry Jingliu/DHIL for one floor of MOC, DOT for the other. Real galaxy brains saw this coming when Mei dropped her fine ass onto the scene
I play both of them together and my gawd it's so good. The fact that arcana can be inflicted on the enemy as soon as they appear means that I don't have to worry about applying a DOT for Kafka to trigger before her turn. She can just detonate arcana immediately. ❤
I was extremely happy to bench Sampo and replace him with Black Swan. Never liked Sampo as a character. Kafka team has always been my favorite team because of how dependable it is, and right now it's extremely strong.

My view on BS is that it provides some ‘future value’ (sounds like investment). 3 years down the road, there may be new mechanics that allow to stack her to 30 each round, which will keep her in top tier in future power creep 😂

Kafka is better 100% in gold and gear otherwize Blackswan better in general and have more usage. I pulled kafka and ignored blackswan because of in gold and gear kafka alone is enough.

The main reason I like Black Swan so much is because of how she improves Kafka. I didn't really use Kafka too much when she came out. Now I get to use her on my main team. Of course I like all the other stuff too lol

Whether you say one or the other is better is based on your account. However you play, what you play and what characters you have will define who’s better for you. But when you combine them together, they a brought to a level beyond their base forms, shit is wild.

Quick question: Do you know if DoT damage is timestamped at the time of application or is it based on character stats at the time the DoT goes off (I.e. if benediction was on BS when she applied the DoT but then it falls off before enemy turn, is DoT based on her current Attack or based on her Attack when she applied the DoT)?
I gotta say, I don't run sustainless comps mostly because I end up dying. Like I'm not really trying to min max anything for any character so I can't push them to the limit and since I don't deal as much damage as I could, I end up dying. Also, I mostly look for builds that I can use on the overworld since as soon as I finish MoC I just don't give a fuck about it anymore, so yeah, sustainer comps for my overworld builds all the way. I really like sustainless comps since they do so much more damage tho, but well, skill issue, or more like I don't give a fuck about sweating on this game issue
I don't think Kafka is mid without BS its the other way around really, since Kafka Enable DoT by herself she can more future proof for upcoming DoT DPS units (on different elements) and i don't think you'll rather have BS instead of Kafka in those team since she doesn't Detonate DoT like kafka does, basically kafka can be pair with EVERY DoT unit and enables them Unlike BS who needs E4 Sampo or Kafka, that itself makes her above BS and no im not gonna use BS just as def shredder since Pela already does it twice better, im mostly agree with your take on your characters review but i think your being blinded by BS on this one.

Every single future dot character that comes later in future that doesnt have the ability to trigger their dots Kafkas value will keep increasing tremendously while for a dps type character like Black Swan will relatively stay the same, Kafka still is and will be the most optimal dps partner for the future dps characters, where characters like black swan depend on her for their max dps potential.
This is the reason why I pulled for Topass and Kafka.

I 100% get what you are saying about their "value" being equal, I will say, that if you release another dot dps like black swan, in another element, if it does not retrigger its own dots or retrigger at all, "SPECIFICALLY FOR RUNNING DOT", i would say having kafka on your account probably holds more value, unless its like a dot support to replace ruan mei, then you run the 3 dot units.
The way I personally look at it, as stand alone units for the future, black swan offers more general value as she is a debuffer (with damage) and a wind dps, but for dot comps, I would say Kafka will be more versatile, as she can use future 5 star dot dps like she did with luka, sampo and guianfen.

I think this is the best way to interpret the value statement. Both kafka and black swan scale with more DoT units, kafka just scale harder. You can make DoT units that may not benefit black swan that much but it’s basically impossible to make one that won’t benefit kafka. Either the venn diagram of kafka mains and black swan mains is a circle.

What you said is valid but they can do other things as well. It depends on what direction they want to take it. Notice how Black swan has certain parts of her kit that Kafka cannot take advantage off, now imagine they make an even more extreme version of that with more damage on the enemy turn and less outside of that. Or they could have more powerful buffs/debuffs that only work on the enemy turn. This would inherently have less synergy with Kafka but it also depends on the numbers. I think it's very possible to get more of this type of mechanics considering that this is the nature of DoT. Another point is that I don't think they want to make Kafka the end all be all of DoT because it would hurt sales in the long run.
@@smexxxxy yes and no.... Black Swan is a very extreme case. I don't expect another retrigger or unit that buffs natural dot for a while, unless hoyo is specifically trying to make dot meta.
The other thing, is that hoyo controls reruns. Just like they have now, rerunning Kafka before dropping a dot unit, or Sparkle before Dan heng. They do it all the time in genshin too. Because it "forces" fomo, it's super predatory, but it's pretty normal for them.
You might be right, but I do think that the power ceiling would need to be a lot higher to sell a unit that makes natural dot (dot that goes off during the opposing turn)
In such a case I probably think we drop RM and run all 3.

It's literally new meta, hoyo is adding more and more comp variety to the game besides the hypercarry supremacy, after they did some novel stuff with main DPS mechanics like Blade, Dan IL and Jingliu. Now there's Ruan Mei for dual DPS, improved DoT and follow-up attack meta, and soon Acheron for nihilty-based DPS comps. I like where this is going.
Honestly Kafka being so versatile is what makes her so fun. Honestly probably gonna farm for an ER rope after seeing this, getting the arcana stacks up and keeping the energy flowing is nuts.
It's why e4 is so broken on both bs and kafka.
Essentially guarantees a two turn ult.

Kafka is so versatile some people use her on Follow Up teams with Dr. Ratio and Topaz.
She might not be the best in most categories other than DoT, but rarely do we see DPS units that can be slotted in so many kinds of teams depending on her build.
She is the most synergistic DPS/Enabler unit I've seen so far in the game, that I'm considering getting her LC in a rerun.

I agree with u they are both really solid units on there own and extremely versatile units in different formats. BS being a solid supportive unit with her def shred and Kafka as dps unit as she is very consistent. Now in general use BS is probably more valuable with her supportive capabilities since she has def shred, but if we are talking about dot teams then I am of the camp that Kafka is the more valuable unit. This is because Kafka will most likely be the best partner for every dot character going forward because no one does what Kafka does. So if u are investing in dot teams she is the most important unit as she drives all of them. They work well without her in the team but she elevates them to new heights with her on them. Now having her and BS u are basically winning because I believe her to be and Incredible support for dot characters that is elevated further by having Kafka. I can definitely see a future where we have a meta mono dot team with the core units being Kafka and BS. Just because there kits mesh so well and probell each other to amazing hights.
I do wanna correct u on the Dr. Ratio bit. Kafka does work with Dr. Ratio. I use them quite frequently together as she is able to ably 2 debuffs in her kit and u can get a 3rd with her signature or using Lukas. Works very well as cleans up ads and enables Dr. Ratio to deal with the elite enemy. Have not tried it with Black Swan yet as she is still under construction but I believe she will probably be the better pair with Dr. Ratio due to her def shred which will increase Dr. Ratios personal dmg
i feel black swan is in a way the ruan mei of the dot character, blck swan with any other dot unit will make wonder and with kafka it's crazy... both become stronger together. it's like a perfect match at this point.
plus if you add ruan mei this is like a dream team.... in some content they can simply break the balance at this point.
But if I have S5 Good Night Sleep Well, would Solitary Healing still be better? And also, after all this time I still don't have Dance Dance for Tingyun. Is Meshing Cog a good alternative?
Black Widow team is insane
I think both are similarly positioned in a way to take advantage of a less versatile version of their counterpart; either a BS that can't turn her DoT into all other DoT types and perhaps sacrifices her debuffer utilities for more personal damage or a Kafka that only retriggers one basic DoT type and maybe sacrifices personal DoT damage for higher DoT retrigger %. Which is more likely to occur is completely up to you.
Something that might become relevant is BS's DoT is always Wind damage no matter what type of DoT its being treated as where as Kafka doubles any type of damage so long as its a DoT. So Kafka might be positioned in a way to handle different damage types better than BS. But then again BS gets resist pen for her E1 😅

Acheron has been leaked to be a crit focused nihility character that builds stacks of debuffs and then releases a giant ult at max stacks(not being able to generate energy) There is a reaosn they released the Debuff set and it wasn't just for dr ratio

after getting kafka on my alt account during her rerun, i’ve had so much playing her. my main is the standard crit build characters, no kafka/actual dot play. so when black swan’s banner came out i was hoping to get enough to pull for her. luckily, i was able to get her 43 pulls after getting kafka! i’m so excited to build her and pair them up. i’m now just waiting for a ruan mei rerun and my dot team will be complete! i will get kafka on my main account too during her 3rd rerun!

Kafka is more "valuable" than Black Swan because she has a universal utility called *DETONATE* which enables literally ALL DoT damage in this game.
Black Swan is ONLY (mostly) a pure DOT DPS unit. She does not have a *UNIQUE UTILITY* in the same league as Kafka's DETONATE.
Black Swan uses ONLY WIND SHEAR to deal damage. Kafka uses EVERY DOT TYPE IN THE GAME to do damage through DETONATE. In other words, You can quite literally fit Kafka in EVERY dot team, *Ever,* and she will elevate that team, despite the fact that she herself is lightning.
This is the functional difference between the two, and this is why Prydwen placed Kafka in S+ tier and NOT Black Swan. It's literally not that complicated people, please use your brain slightly, and see the whole picture these units fit in ffs.

The Kafka simps are delusional. It’s black swan’s archetype now. Kafka is elemental coverage. Black swan is a transcendent character for the archetype. You can use other detonators, as you have shown us. Of course this is all in respect to the real queen Ruan mei being tier 0. Black swan sits right next to Topaz for owning a whole archetype.
How the fuck do people get relics with 11 speed.
Ive probably spent over 10000 energy and several million credits into the DOT relic set trying to optimize dot relics and can never get both attack and speed substats to level up more than twice.
I went for Kakfka just for A waifu pull but now that I have Black Swan I regret skipping HuoHuo lol.

But I would like your opinion on some speed thresholds and tuning that I should aim for with Kafka, Black Swan, Ruan Mei and Luocha for general MoC clears.
Does Kafka have to go after black Swan if Kafka has hyperspeed (162 Speed on Kafka and 137 on Black Swan)? What exactly should be the proper tuning for good efficiency. I use Ruan Mei with vonwaq so she still goes first but after that Kafka goes next then Luocha and Black Swan at last. I feel like this is scuffed so I would like to understand what speed to achieve for each unit. Also I don't have Kafka's sig lc. I use GNSW.
I just don't know if I should drop the speed on Kafka so that she can go after Black Swan and increase Swan's speed to 150. Something like 150 speed Black Swan and 147 speed Kafka sounds better. Then luocha at 143 so he can re trigger kafka's follow up.
Just got immense luck. Got Kafka in the last banner, and this banners, over the course of around 35 pulls, I got Black Swan, E1 Bronya and and DHIL. After that, the next standard pull I got Bailu's Light cone (ok, I was at around 75 pity but its was still a fun experience). Now I have too many characters to focus on...
Great Showcases as usual Gacha. I can't speak for others but as of right now; Kafka's power level grows with DOT characters power level. Ignoring Kafka's appearance...change her to a dude and she will still be the more valuable component to DOT compositions. My Kafka isn't even built with DMG...Just speed, energy and break.
Did a run of GNG with BS kafka huohuo and ruan mei. Dropped 2m damage and i was flabbergasted.

I was afraid to do a sustainless comp on second side of moc floor 11 but tried it after watching this video. Eventhough I can't 0 cycle it it's amazing that I managed to clear it without a sustainer.
I've just melted Level 8 VirtualR with Kafka and Swan without any eidolons, some skillpoints missing and Musketeer equip. Those were just 2 DOT ticks enough to complete final phase

Day one player and still no sampo light cone it’s insane ,currently using silver wolf event light cone so I can hit the 120 effect hit rate threshold but it lacks dmg my black swan has 3.1k atk and 120 effect hit rate currently building my sampo cause I don’t have Kafka. My only problem is keeping up arcana I think I’m to dumb for it 😂😂😂

I play both of them together and my gawd it's so good. The fact that arcana can be inflicted on the enemy as soon as they appear means that I don't have to worry about applying a DOT for Kafka to trigger before her turn. She can just detonate arcana immediately. ❤

I was extremely happy to bench Sampo and replace him with Black Swan. Never liked Sampo as a character. Kafka team has always been my favorite team because of how dependable it is, and right now it's extremely strong.

My view on BS is that it provides some ‘future value’ (sounds like investment). 3 years down the road, there may be new mechanics that allow to stack her to 30 each round, which will keep her in top tier in future power creep 😂

Whether you say one or the other is better is based on your account. However you play, what you play and what characters you have will define who’s better for you. But when you combine them together, they a brought to a level beyond their base forms, shit is wild.

Quick question: Do you know if DoT damage is timestamped at the time of application or is it based on character stats at the time the DoT goes off (I.e. if benediction was on BS when she applied the DoT but then it falls off before enemy turn, is DoT based on her current Attack or based on her Attack when she applied the DoT)?

I gotta say, I don't run sustainless comps mostly because I end up dying. Like I'm not really trying to min max anything for any character so I can't push them to the limit and since I don't deal as much damage as I could, I end up dying. Also, I mostly look for builds that I can use on the overworld since as soon as I finish MoC I just don't give a fuck about it anymore, so yeah, sustainer comps for my overworld builds all the way. I really like sustainless comps since they do so much more damage tho, but well, skill issue, or more like I don't give a fuck about sweating on this game issue

I don't think Kafka is mid without BS its the other way around really, since Kafka Enable DoT by herself she can more future proof for upcoming DoT DPS units (on different elements) and i don't think you'll rather have BS instead of Kafka in those team since she doesn't Detonate DoT like kafka does, basically kafka can be pair with EVERY DoT unit and enables them Unlike BS who needs E4 Sampo or Kafka, that itself makes her above BS and no im not gonna use BS just as def shredder since Pela already does it twice better, im mostly agree with your take on your characters review but i think your being blinded by BS on this one.
