And it hurts that they did not include simple lights. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Yes, the plastic links are a bit flexible but works not so bad. But your right, there are a few point for upgrades on it. Maybe I can do a upgrade video in the future.

The HPI venture looks like a great truck for the trails. Have to admit I was distracted by the scenery in the back ground. Beautiful place you live. Have you any other trail trucks to compare this too? If so which did you like best?

Einerseits möchte ich technisch über das Fahrzeug informiert werden (Info und Tips) andererseits möchte ich die Performance in Live sehen. Weiter so :D!! Grundsätzlich bin ich positiv überrascht von HPI, das Chassis gefällt mir, obwohl es etwas lange gedauert hat. Einziger Punkt ist die Batteriehaltung. Position und Funktion hätte mann in dieser langen Konstruktionsphase besser machen können. Aber ist immer noch besser als Axial und Vaterra. Ich bin leider von beiden Herstellern etwas enttäuscht. Beide haben diese Woche neue Fahrzeuge vorgestellt und die einzigen Unterschiede sind andere Karros und LED Beleuchtung. Der Scaler Markt wird grösser und viele wollen sich beteiligen, doch leider ist bei den großen Playern wie Axial und Vaterra Innovation ein Fremdwort. Zum Glück mischt Traxxas, HPI und auch MST diesen Markt etwas auf.

Klar, die Custom Builds sind die wahren Scaler. Aber ich habe auch nichts gegen RTRs. Mir fehlt die Innovation!! Vor ca. 1.5 Jahren kam der SCX10 II heraus. Das Chassis ist wirklich nicht schlecht, es gibt aber schon Verbesserungspotential. Jetzt sind wir alle 1.5 Jahre älter und der neue RTR von Axial ist genau gleich geblieben. Was haben die Leute bei Axial den gemacht? Dem Anschein nach nichts...wenn das Chassis jetzt schon perfekt wäre, ok, ist es aber nicht. Zudem haben sie Axial Fest und andere Events an denen kreative Bauten zu besichtigen sind, man kann mit den Kunden sprechen, hören was sie wollen usw. Doch leider wird nichts umgesetzt. Lange Rede kurzer sinn, ich werde mir kein Axial mehr kaufen, lieber ein HPI :D

Nice video, but you don't mention that the servo is REALLY WEAK and the servo horn is something like crazy, because it causes a vertical torque to the servo axle and gives a lot of extra elastic movement to the wheels. I have succeeded in throwing away that horn and use a standard one with a little job. Now, with a new cheap 20Kg servo, the steering is really sharp, strong on rocks during hard crawling. I suggest this to everyone, before breaking each servo you can mount or get angry because the car is really not sharp in steering.
