Before getting fungus coated seeds consider the fact that there are dormant native spores laying dormant in the soil. All they require is farming practices that don't disturb the soil and keep a root in the ground to re-populate.
@@gregfreemyer fair enough. However has any work been done to study the impact of non native spores to native populations and any side effects to the soil ecosystems.
@@leedza I don't know, but a Johnson-Su Composting Bioreactor is low cost (~$50 to build one). Inoculate the static compost pile with local soil from the field. It will also get spores deposited from the local air. 12 months later you have a very spore rich compost. Make a nutrient rich slurry of 8 parts whole milk (raw if you have it), 1 part molasses, and lots of compost. Coat your own seeds: 1 liter per 2.5 acres worth of seeds.

Hi Robert, we do most of our work with commercial growers. You can buy BioCoat Gold in as small as 1-pound packages on our website: www.advancingecoag.com/store/BioCoat-Gold-c20998048. This is more than you will need for a 500 square foot garden since 4 ounces of the seed coat treats 100 pounds of seed. However, you may want to purchase and split the package with other gardeners.
@@AdvancingEcoAgriculture Do You Ship your product also here to Germany now in 2021? I am a gardener and graduated phytopathologist with high interest. Maybe an old friend of mine in Omaha/Nebraska could buy it and send it here? Would it pass through customs and would the microorganisms survive the journey ?

Field studies using a Johnson-Su Composting Bioreactor to make a seed coating have been superior to depending on dormant spores in the soil.
