Why 36 hours for the hackathon, what if teams prepared everything before the grand finale as they know the problem statements? please clarify about this.
Bro you already know the problem statements and supposed to prepare the prototype before going into finals. The better prototype and product you have the better your chances to win. In 36/48 hours they will provide you some feedback and you've to iterate on that feedback and then they will decide who's going to win.

it's fine, you can learn everything along the way. for now participate in your internal hackathon give your best create a prototype using figma or wireframing tool then learn whatever needed in order to build that prototype.
@@nishant7083 you can start with any high level language. fundamentals must be highly strong. later switching to any language is a cake walk. i wrote first code around 6-7 years ago and it was using C++ on turboC++. lol

for internal college you can do, and it generally depends on college to college as well. if your college is too strict about following the template then go ahead with that. but yes while submitting for finals you strictly have to follow the template.
Student innovation usually receives huge competition, if you honestly think you’ve something innovative then it’s gtg otherwise recommend choosing something niche and low competition.
For ministry I don’t think business model is required but would recommend you to choose something through which you can create a business, higher chances of getting selected.

@@prajedits4065 i guess if problem statement is actually just focusing on app development then you can take someone who either know app dev or even you guys can start learning. flutter is not that difficult to learn you can learn the basics to at least create a minimum app and keep you high level functionalities on website.

there's a very high screening process.
last year out of 15 we were the only team from our college who were selected for finals.
