These guys always make you grab your board and paddle out. I used sit on the line up when i was growing up and wish I could listen to this music while I was surfing. And today we can now do that. what a great time to be alive
Good for you! I have never surfed in my life....never lived close to any body of water that could make it possible. Like the song ( I wish I could be more like you ) ! Cheers.
Thanks for Pulley! It might be a good thing of my relatively recent finding of this incredible californian band (excluding one or two songs from "Punk-O-Rama" compilations, listened in highschool days)!!! It is unbelivable how much my music taste is based upon mix of text message, emotions, melody mixed with hard-core sound and, above all, sincerity. That's the reason of choosing bands based upon emotions and common sence, not upon social mediocrities unhidden in the base core of every media "establishment"! I can say that every Pulley's album is extraordinary joint of emotional records (life stories: less rebelious, more emotional) with catchy melody and authentic singing and playing style, where you can set aside exclusively Pulley style elements. Otherwise, lead vocal, Scott Radinsky known in sport world as a professional lefthanded baseball player, as a sportsman, sensitive punk rocker and athlet (92 kg/191 cm), can be moniker as a benevolent punk rock giant! God, thank you for Pulley!
Forever a fan... Bought this EP the min it came out. Idk why, Pulley has been a favorite even over Alkaline, NOFX, and even Bad Religion...I was listening to Together Again For the First Time today, just as an example....I don't think Scott and all of the new members know that there are still like 50-100 people I know that are always awaiting a new album. THEY ALL OWN *NO CHANGE IN THE WEATHER*! This band has that hyper, quasi-quirky skate punk sound that just always makes you smile. Like Me First and their cover songs do..
Am I the only one who doesn't generally likes NOFX? Might be in part because of me growing up with 2000s heavy music too. Nonetheless, 90s punk is among my favs and Pulley sure strikes me hard.
