I think this is why I tried to write a story (or you could say diary) using some new vocabulary. Until now, I still remember that vocabulary (even if not 100%), but I believe repetition will help

This is true. When I listen to songs that I love with new vocab, I can learn these new words easily without "real learning" at all. I just remember them. You learn new words much more easier when you have some kinds of relationship with them.

I'm an English professor from America, and I have a very small channel where I use video games as a way to give people English listening practice. I think your channel is excellent! oh cool hello there! I checked out your channel, such a fun concept. I bet the videos are way more fun to make than mine as well haha. Maybe you could consider some Animal Crossing dialogue--I've always thought that game would be great for learning English, you're just socializing in a small town basically. Keep it up man, we both in this UA-cam grind game. Really appreciate the feedback.

Connor, you hit the nail on the head with your analysis that people established relationships with the word they learned. For instance, “rebate” is not a frequent word for everyone in their daily conversation, but I had a close connection with it. You guess why, I used to work as a front desk cashier at a hotel, we did rebate almost everyday for customers who claimed they didn’t use this didn’t use that while staying at the hotel. lol

I don't know if this was your plan or if you have noticed, but this video was very useful for those who want to learn languages in general and not English only. I wouldn't say my English is great, but it's not my goal for now, because I'm trying to learn more languages at the same time now that I'm a trilingual and like languages. What i wanted to say is that if you make more videos that help with language learning in general you will get more audience and attention from more people instead of just those who want to learn English, of course this is just a suggestion and thanks for this helpful video.💖

I also have a same view as yours, Mr Connor. Everyday, everywhere I go, I could see people ranging from old to young are looking down on the smartphones as the social media such as Tiktok, satisfied them instead of associating and communicating with people like the way people used to do in the past. The smartphones are now ubiquitous to them currently.

this is very effective way but its needs alots of time and patience and dedication every day you barely will hit 10 new words a day about 2 years to gain a 5000 words ,,, but this technique will rise your writing skills also wich can speed up your conforms in the language usage and this can help to gather more words in a smaller time ... i think every one should give it a shoot and see how this will go

I see a lot of strangers, particularly highschoolers vaping recent days when I take a walk. It could be either on my way to the bus stop or when I head to some place to meet my friends. I even remember my friend saying that his friend smoked at 11 because she looked older. My other friend told me a story where he vaped in his room, making it full of smoke and his mom came in. It makes me wish vapes to be less ubiquitous in my country. Other countries seem to be selling them on the grounds that it addicts society and makes it more ubiquitous
I will like I've made too many connections instead of focusing on the given word :l

As a person from Azerbaijan, I'd say the stares of old ladies at you are very ubiquitous, especially, in local transports. They just make you stand up and give your sit to them, no matter how tired you are or how much load you have in your hands. They think they're always the most exhausted people. I don't say they're not tired, but always having these stares bothers me in case I spend the whole day outside not for fun or entertainment, but for work or education and I really need to sit as I spend 2 hours to arrive at home. I've heard that, this situation is quite the opposite in Japan. When you stand up and give them your sit, they take it as disrespect. You give them sit because they're so old that they can't even stand stable or get tired faster than young people. Even though it's true, they don't like to seem old or treated as old that way. The old get it as discrimination. Idk how correct this information is, but it's a very different and interesting perspective.
