Wait…I’m confused…you just slip in that EVERY shingle needs finish nails nailed through the facing on EVERY corner? I am supposed to perforate and see thousands of tiny holes in my shingles?

Exactly, this is ridiculous and you still have to paint this garbage? You would be better off with Certainteed Cedar perfection siding or there individual vinyl shakes

Looks good. Would you recommend a metal drip cap prior to putting in the starter strip to stop any water getting behind the first course?
