Comparing Nakamichi CR7 with this Revox B710 MK II with different tape

In order to compare the sound quality of Nakamichi CR7, I use this Revox B710Mk II cassette deck, but I am using another TDK cassette tape. This tape is over 80 grams in weight solid cast aluminium case. Note that I purposely place the microphone farther backwards. So this is not a Apple to Apple comparison anymore. Let’s try it out tomorrow same set up with just different cassette deck with all variables unchanged.
I confirm already this original Nana Mouskouri CD had a louder output on left channel by about 5 db! It’s not the fault of the cassette decks. I did not set right channel volume higher to compensate the lower signal. Just to record the original music as it is. Remarks this tape is also in the price of $2600 HKD!
