I've sang on stage with Joe.
When he was with Latino rockabilly war in Manchester.
I jumped on stage just as he was about to sing " straight to hell " I grabbed him by neck kissed his face and as song began he said to me
" take it away " after a shout out to my mate in crowd I sang the song with him .
Then spoke to him on stairs at the side of building for about 5 minutes .

Joe's voice aged like a fine wine. I'm forever sad we lost him when he was in the form of his life. I can only imagine how his music would have evolved over the years. RIP big man. Also RIP Terry Hall who made this song famous with the Specials. Hopefully they are hanging out vibing together somewhere
