I love your in depth guides to various decks as I personally build many decks to have at all times and it is very difficult to learn so many, your a big help
I'll be uploading another combo guide for this deck, then another video on like siding patterns/my playstyle vs certain decks, which I hope will help you!
6:05 when you have Shenshen on the field and all cards that would go in the GY would be banished why you can send Jiji in the GY (with the effect of Laolao)? I thought it have to be banished and then you cant activate the "monster reborn" effect of Laolao?
These videos help some what but the combos are so fast and abbreviated. Its difficult for a new player and it's kind of hard to remember where and what everything is cause it's kind of all over the place. But if I keep replaying it I understand it somewhat especially if I go back and read what the cards do. I wish there were. Videos almost exactly like this just a little more slowed down and structured for new players, so they can learn what the deck does and how you're trying to win with it. If a channel did that and made super nice looking videos it would blow up with tons of views I think cause it really hasn't been done that way
Thank you so much for making this guide. I'm trying to getting back to playing at locals after quarantine, and I'm looking for a good budget deck. My choices right now are Virtual World, Generaiders, and Fluffals, and Virtual World is looking like my best option now after the mega tins.
Will do with name + qinglong/awkward hands of double names and with the mudragon package. Will also give some siding tips/different boards to make against different decks
Question regarding combo 5: You say that with Jiji added instead of roshi, you say make a charge warrior for draw then Shenshen. But you would only have 1 tuner, so you can't go charge into Shenshen. You repeated this a second time as well. Am I missing a combo piece or did you just get Coral Dragon and Charge Warrior confused?
I'll be uploading another combo guide for this deck, then another video on like siding patterns/my playstyle vs certain decks, which I hope will help you!
I'm new to the deck but for the second combo, after you synchro into shenshen. Wouldn't all the cards you're sending from like Jiji effect be banished cuz Shenshen?
Hey man! Great video as always! Just a couple of questions: when you detach a material from M7 @6m30, the material is banished due to Shenshen right? And if your opponent uses Nibiru when Shenshen is on the board, everythinh is banished including Shenshen itself? Thx and keep going!
shenshen only banishes cards sent from the field to the gy, and detaching wouldn’t banish the materials since materials are not considered face up on the field. If nibiru tributes shenshen everything goes to grave since shenshen simultaneously gets sent to the gy. Hope this helps
Thank you for this guide. I was hoping to see some ultimaya combos actually, do you have any plans to make a video about those? mostly curious about when ultimaya is better to make than shenshen because i can see VW can consistently get Crystal Wing out before the 5th summon which means your nib-proof?
Hey dude. This vid was really helpful. Be great if you could do some going second hands and how to break boards or what's good against certain match ups! Subbed :)
I'll be uploading another combo guide for this deck, then another video on like siding patterns/my playstyle vs certain decks, which I hope will help you. Thanks for the sub :)
Recently started playing virtual world. One question about Jiji. If you discard NyanNyan with JiJi's effect, because it says to discard then if you do, special summon JiJi, wouldn't Nyan come back right as soon as JiJi is special summoned?
If you're asking why you can't summon back the nyannyan you send off jiji, it's because the game doesn't recognize that nyannyan was in the gy when jiji was summoned and thus it cannot trigger. Distantcoder has a good video on this if you want a more detailed explanation
The video is very informative i like the combos, maybe as a suggestion...you can show a few combos that can help negate nibiru. The card is a 3 of and your not going to see it often as it floats during certain formats but having the knowledge to out the rock could assist those learning the deck
With lulu/lili + kauwloon, you can also end on 1 card less in hand, but ptolemy on field on top of croc & shen. Do you think its better to play around imperm or end on more followup with ptolemy?
Unfourtanately that hand alone you mention can't really do anything, but I have a video for combos with weird hands here: ua-cam.com/video/jHPEoCjiRac/v-deo.html
This would be great if we memorized all the virtual world card's effects. Without that it's really hard to follow along. I wish guides would explain things like we are 5.
I'm sorry, I just assumed if anyone was watching this they would be somewhat familiar with the deck already. Perhaps you can check out deck profiles where each card should be explained in more detail.
If you're still trying to learn. Let's call Monster/Spell/Trap catagories of cards They all special summon by targeting a Virtual world card, then sending a different catagory of card than what you target to the GY. Then they all do 1 unique thing. Lulu searches a card of the 3rd catagory (e.g. target trap, send spell lets you search monster) Lili lets you send a card from deck to GY of third catagory (e.g. target trap, send spell and monster) Laolao is monster reborn Jiji lets you add back a VW from GY in the end phase Nyannyan is the exception. It doesn't special summon itself, but if it's in the GY and a lv3 is summoned, it summons itself back as a tuner, but is banished when it leaves the field. City activates a VW Spell or Trap from your deck (usually chuche). Also has other effects, but they rarely come up (thought annoyingly those effects mean it can be negated by ash) Quinglong can banish a VW in grave to negate a monster effect. If it's in the grave you can banish it to search a VW monster and discard. Chuche can return 2 different banished VW cards to pop a card. You can banish it from the GY to change the lv/rank of a VW by 3 (up or down) Xanwu does basically nothing on field, but you can banish it to discard 1 card and reborn a VW from GY Hope this helps
I just need to see the combos being explained to get to that set up and how you get from one step to the other in each process, ie( This cards does this to get to that, simple) but you add too much thought process for countering this or that that it confuses the hell outta me when I’m a novice to this deck just trying to learn the combos, I’ll learn the thought process and counters this or that as I play thru in Yugioh Master Duel. dude this is what I need too , i’m trying to learn this deck for master duel but having so many options in my extra as well as knowing what to send to graveyard is super hard with this deck since you have to think ahead a bit. Combos without explanation will allow me to see what I need to do , I can read the card effect my self and see what usually happens.
You can find just the combos alone all over youtube, I've found it beneficial to have a more in depth guide with the thought process. To each their own though. Most of the combos/test hands I make are like that so I apologize if it isn't up to par.
@@tcgsam the actual combos are good and Ive actually memorized the first two so now i’m actually able to play my deck a little more thanks to you it’s just that people , kinda in your video as well (no offense), people often interject things like oh you could have done this instead here and here and it’s kind of confusing especially for returning newer players who don’t have much skill yet visualizing combos that you can pull off down the road especially with a deck that I found to be intimidating to play without actual knowledge or practice . It’s much simpler for newer players to do/follow along with step 1 , step 2 , step 3 with no added commentary , just the cards and what they do. It makes the videos more concise. I think at the end of each combo after all the summons are out maybe then you can give extra suggestions so people aren’t hearing them when trying to memorize the combos.
@@tcgsam Honestly I would love like a 10 min updated video with all these combos just in a more concise , scripted format. Maybe adding something like a blank screen after each combo with a step by step diagram using just the names of the cards would be super beneficial because people can visualize and see it physically that way.
@@julianreyes1063 I'll consider that, but the thing with VW is that it's not a linear combo deck. There are so many lines, so its hard to have a definitive combo for each combination of cards. Given that VW is also a toolboxy type of deck, it really does depend on the situation. Either way, I suppose I could try it sometime in the future.

You ramble far too long. You get ahead of yourself then rewind, losing all pacing of the explanation. With Master duel just coming out, I would just re-do the whole video and hopefully slow it down and focus on what you are trying to talk about.
Trim the fat: too many extraneous comments to focus on the combo itself, requiring multiple rewinds of your video to get back on track (If youre going to talk about hypothetical things which can ruin a combo, or why a combo is good, or if youre going to talk about OTHER/different combos, wait until after doing the initial combo to talk about it. Virtual world is the best budget meta deck imo
Well tbf VW did dominate the meta at one point
21:27 You forgot to discard off Xuanwu. So you'll end with 3 in hand presumably.
You're right, my bad!
If you bring jijo back from GY from loulous reborn effect does jijis effect to grab from the gy in end phase still happen??
No, you must resolve jiji's effect in hand for that to happen
Great video. Love this style of VW vs the mudragon version. And yeah a video explaining how to set up vs different matchups would be great

My problem with this is all those combos with chuche is that if that's your first time and you don't have Kowloon you can't activate a trap to target.
Chuche has the best combos for the deck, I have other videos with other combos under my channel already though if you're interested
