To everyone who (like myself) is being affected by the dangerous heat wave in the Midwest and along the east coast: stay cool, stay hydrated, and stay safe! For us this solstice wasn't as much of a celebration as it usually is 😅 but I'm thoroughly enjoying this video sitting in front of my fan

I have a few oracle decks but I'm not very practiced with readings yet, sometimes I end up just picking one and shuffling and looking at it a lot. 😅 But I wanted to say that your reading is so perfect for the Phoenix, and really resonates with me! Phoenixes have always been my favorite mythical creatures. I've always seen them as such a hopeful symbol, that we rise stronger from the ashes of our challenges. They're a beautiful metaphor for true death as well - we are returned back to the earth and go on to nourish new life again. So huzzah for change and huzzah for starting anew!

Rose quartz has always been one of my favorite crystals for its healing properties. I'm always in need of crystals to enhance physical well-being due to a chronic illness that's been determined to keep me bedridden lately. I'm starting a new medication that's meant to help manage it so the Phoenix card bodes well for me. I can only hope once i get past the initial side effects I'll be able to feel better
