why do you say that? the last time that i played was a long time ago on a non-official server but i played a mage both times, and the website has been recommending me this hardcore mode stuff so it has refreshed my memory a little about not necessarily the particular details about each place and each big boss and the techniques needed to defeat him, but more about just playing a mage in general. and i clicked on a few videos from this guy over the last week or two and i never saw anything that qualifies as "so little clue" or whatever.. he is obviously not some professional player or anything, but he seems perfectly alright.. the only thing that i can think of that i saw him do wrong is when he activates his mage power and the items that make you do more damage for a little while too early. like that item that makes your frost bolt and fireball faster, or the one that increases the damage, etc. i remember there is a mage frost spell that makes it so that each time you attack it puts a thing on the bad guy that increases your chance of doing double critical damage to him. and it stacks up on top of itself i think five times for a total of 10%. well, it's smarter to wait like 10 seconds until that is applied on the bad guy before activating your powers. but that's pretty much the only thing that i noticed. maybe i just don't remember enough, i don't know.. but to me, nothing seems like "so little clue" but just a normal person doing thing like 95% right and tiny little mistakes here and there. it's not like something like that requires some super mega ultra epic gamer talent.. you just need to know about it, and then he will have fixed that issue in like 2 seconds and will never do it again. so instead of just saying that people are clueless, why not point out what the person is doing wrong? i doubt this guy is gonna be out here reading the little messages, but maybe someone else that plays a mage can see it and get better from the advice. wouldn't that be better?
@@issadraco532 lol hes fucking up so much stuff, hes literally carried but okay. usually ppl dont raid hardcore without even knowing bossmechaics or watching a small guide at least you know ? i played in a very very bad guild NONHC and we were supposed to know tactics. for example mitch was basicly stealing spore buffs from other ppl that fight like 3-4 times ... if he wasnt a streamer and friends with those ppl they would prolly just kick him, like he fails stuff like "sheep that star add on pull" thats not a small mistake, thats shit that can wipe a raid. if u dont see that ur prolly clueless too : ) but i have to say its fun to see a learning curve, also reminds me of my old self (i dont need to watch a guide i just figure shit out as we go) but for hc thats prolly not the right strat : D
@@issadraco532 well i was not aiming to teach and target audience was not "noobies" but people that have done these raids 100s of times that get flashbacks to people that killed them because they did not do tactics and instead brainlessly focused on dps meter.. for instance you will never see mitch sheep cc's or importent stuff and he does minimal decursing. and he often focus dps wrong mobs
but he is still having fun and have not killed anyone yet but thats also why i said its crazy he is still alive cause all you need to do is standing 1 wrong spot and you insta die

last time i played this place was way back in the days so i don't remember if you had to click each little curse, but i played a while back on a non-official server and there was this add-on that you could get that allowed you to press a single button and it would automatically remove a curse from someone. it was really fancy, you could even go into the options before fighting a specific bad guy and select each person to prioritize certain people over others and things like that. for example, sometimes you need to focus on removing the curse from the warrior, other times you need to focus on removing it from a priest because it slows down their healing, etc. and you could actually do that and set it up. it was nice. this thing of having to click on a visual icon when you don't even know who you are clicking on unless you stop and look for each before you press seems like a much slower way of doing it!
@issadraco532 most healers have decurse bound to a mousover on thier raid frames, but dps dont usually have that, think thats why mitch uses decurse addon, i made this comment cause i noticed he was clicking on other people just as someone else does the same thing lol. When i raided we just gave everyone decursing 2 columns each. Makes it a lot faster, and as we all know, seconda and uptime matter a lot.
@@VeZzE1337 I propose a wipe at Saphiron, Razuvious (cause Priest fails MC :D) or Horsemen...lets see These are the bosses where you can die easily if one player fucks up. I guess the want to burn saphiron with Plus / Minus buff from Thaddius, so that saphiron has no transition.
@@gravimotion_Coding hmm.. i don't remember much about this game. never did that skeleton dragon boss because this place is really difficult and my group couldn't get past the four horse guys before people moved on. i was also a mage and only one other team on our side managed to finish the entire place before the burning expansion came out. we're talking almost two decades ago, so i can't really remember shit. but i played the game again on a non-official server a while back so i got to the razuvius guy that you are talking about, and i know what you mean about dying if someone does something wrong. but i think that it's unlikely for everyone to die because i remember there is a trick where you can jump on a wagon to get the boss to bug out and lose interest in you and go back to his spot. so maybe a few people would die, but not everyone. there is also a spot like this for the fatty, you can jump on some boxes and he can't hurt you. i used it a lot to save the potions and avoid dying because my group tried it probably a dozen times and never managed to kill him. he has a really high amount of life and goes red like a little tomato and starts smacking the warrior really hard. and he already hits hard to begin with, so it's almost impossible if he doesn't get killed before he get angry. never ended up killing him. only killed maybe half of bosses in the place before the server shut down from a lack of people. anyways, the website has been recommending me these hardcore mode clips for some reason, and i watched a few of them and i am surprised to see how these people are managing to get this far, especially when you see that they have green and blue items, not to mention the fact that they are not allowed to die even once. i know the company put the game out again a few years ago, so i think that they made it a lot easier than back in the days and easier than on the non-official servers. probably knew that otherwise it would be a repeat of what happened initially with only a tiny tiny amount of people even being able to make it inside, let alone finish the place, so they probably wanted more people to be able to play. because i don't see any other explanation.. it's not like these guys are professional players or something. this mage guy here in the footage seems good but nothing crazy.. even i could spot some mistakes that he made. meanwhile, my group had all of the best items from the insect place with the big eye and did that place for like 3-4 months before another maybe 1 month and a half of this place, and never even came close to doing any of the stuff that they are doing here. like i remember the guy with the little skeletons teleports on a balcony at some point, or the guy with the green lava floor moves on the platform and forces you to dodge the lava.. and these guys are killing the bad guys so fast that they don't even have time to do that. meanwhile, we had an entire group with all of the best possible weapons and armor in the game up until that point and even some from this place right here, and it always took at least 1 or 2 times of going on the green lava floor. and the first guy always teleported at least once or twice before we would have time to kill him. i can't remember exactly the amounts of damage that i used to do but i think it was even higher than this. i definitely remember one of the best fireballs hitting for like 4500.. meanwhile this guy does what, maybe 3500? something doesn't add up here.. the only explanation is that either the company reduced the life of the bad guys by a lot when they put the game out again to make it easier and allow more people to do these places, or the non-official server that i played on had greatly increased the life of the bad guys without anyone knowing. i also noticed the little dragon logo on the top right of the screen, so he has those boosts from giving the head of the onyxia dragon to the orc in the city and things like that. he is even on the troll island at the beginning to get the boost from killing the big serpent troll god. i don't know how much of a difference that makes, but the server that i played on didn't allow you to get those. you could, but as soon as you entered a place with either 20 or 40 people it would instantly remove the boosts, so you were only allowed to use potions. not sure how much of a difference that makes, but yeah, something is definitely strange here. seems really weird.
Pyroblast is worthless compared to fireball you get 2 fireballs off to every pyroblast and they hit for the same roughly 1 long cast chance for a crit vs 2 short cast same damage double chance to crit.
This was hard to watch as a warlock player. You are brought to the raid to make sure there is close to 100% curse uptime. Obviously, Loatheb removes curses, but you have DBM to inform you, when it's time to reapply+you have WAs for this. Arguably the worst Lock performance I've ever seen on Loatheb. You can thank the stupid locks for a big part of your resists. Also, the kill would have been significantly faster had the locks actually done their jobs. What a hard grief on the ignites. Also, the amount of damage that was lost with no CoR....What a hard grief.
decursive is actually rubbish i don't know why people use it, honestly... just setup a mouse over macro atleast you can prio the people you want to decurse first on your actual raid frames
