Dont be scared of it too turbulence never made a bad thing for airplanes like a crash or anything close maybe a incident on all story of aviation that means more than 100 years , You are scared of a airplane being striked by a lightning? well again airplanes are made that so even alot of lightnings cant do anything very bad just a minor damage which doenst affect nothing and pilots try to avoid storms as much as possible like in ships they try to avoid storms , scared of being too far away from other airport when like a engine fail happens? thats why there is etops certification a airplane can not fly too much away of a airport that is ideal for the airplane and can be used in case of emergency without etops you cant fly more than 60 minutes away from a airport that the airplane can use most common etops 120 minutes and best etops 370 minutes that changes depending on the airplane confiability and also aviation gets safer each year Aviation learn with crashes and make changes to make these crashes never happen again by the same reason they change some of the things in airplanes change pilot training to make it safer and flight attendants are trained to make people do some things in case of a crash happen for a bigger safety for passengers , are you scared of a airplane having an desing failure or a failure from a system by like a desing error? airplanes are tested ALOT they test everything they can to see if theres an error that can happen airplanes are tested very heavily and if theres somenthing not good by somenthing in the airplane they can change it to make it not happen again so many security barriers , are you scared of colision in air? there is tcas system which alerts if theres an airplane too close and on a instrument says where the airplane is , if they are going to a colision the tcas system will say to the pilots to go up and down and airplanes have separation they should be 1k feet higher or lower than other plane and sideways i dont remember but maybe 2k 3k of separation you can really see how many security barriers there are , there is a video on the entertainment system that says some of the things you should do in case of a crash like how to use a life jacket , belly landings are totally safe the airplane will get some damage in case of a belly landing but everyone will survive even a belly landing , gear failure if the gear doesnt go up the pilots will get it down by gravity and if it doesnt too a landing without one gear is still safe so many security barriers that probably you guys didn't know many of them , water landings in case of emergency well the planes are made to float days in the ocean and people can stay in wings on the slide , you think it takes too much time to evacuate a plane? well planes are made to mostly evacuate under 90 seconds and if somenthing is broken on the airplane there is mel which says with what an airplane can fly safe without so if you think your airplane is without somenthing important it will never be with because the mel will not let the airplane to fly by that many security barriers you will probably lose alot of your fear of flying there are way more security barriers also airplanes have a minimum speed to fly with only one engine also there is a maximum speed to abort the takeoff so pilots know if they can or cant abort the takeoff , and also there are many redundancies like 2 to 3 or more hydraulic systems R.A.T Ram air turbine to get energy in case of engine failure Apu can work on that too , also if a engine gets on fire the pilots can extinguish the fire and pilots have alarms of many things they have alarms of like engine fire overspeed stall autopilot off/on alarms to many things they have alarms to tell if the airplane has a too high bank angle thats all i remember ill put this in some videos to make people lose fear of flying more
