The reason why Ryssi came to Idol Philippines to redeem herself and clean her name because of controversial rumors of her and Skus because people were spreading rumors about them that 'they were together' but they really weren't. So after a year, she stopped singing after awhile and came back to make a name for herself pretty much. Long story short.
Who is Skus? Never heard of him. Is he a band member. Ryssi is more noticeable in the Michael P. post of "Rainbow", even more than Michael P. himself.

First if all, I believe that any rumor will not prosper without any iota of basis. Secondly, at this age and time, there is no need to "redeem" oneself if you once truly cared for that person, no matter what the prevailing circumstances were, unless of course if the rumor was 100% malicious and the person in question is a yukky and a hopeless bum.

Here's the summary/translation of what she said hehe. After she broke up with her boyfriend, he went to Skusta for collaborations and do some covers. After that, people spread rumors about them and her allegedly stealing Skusta from Zeinab. She got trending quickly, it was one afternoon when she blew up and got trending as she mentioned. After that she stopped singing because she can't face people and so when she found out about idol season 2, she joined for her to redeem herself and clean her name.
Lastly, her original song was about the incident she mentioned. It was about her thanking that event that made her who she is today.

Actually, her full name is Rosarely "Ryssi" Avila. She was my former schoolmate. She used to lead musical-themed competition back then. She is very talented and intelligent.

Judge Chito: Her time signature is so technical
Judge Gary: it's so clean.
And the ticket that Ryssi received is the highest that they can give during audition. It means that each judges can give 1platinum ticket to contestant that they think deserves it. The auditionee that will received Platinum ticket will jump 2rounds after the audition. So it means they will have a bigger chance to be included in the top 12 for the live show.

Wow ovela. This was just performed last night in abs cbn's idol philippines audition. I was not expecting fir to react to this as fast as i imagined. You wonder what that silver card, actually it's a platinum card more than the gold card. And moira asked after the first song if she writes a song as she can't believe raissy was that good and raissy said yes, thus the second song which she wrote.
