  • This video was taken about 3 years ago when I first grabbed a camera and attempted to make my first video. I went into the beautiful Algonquin backcountry after feeling better and about a year after being diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroendocrine Cancer. The plan was for a 3 night trip, but as is the case with being sick sometimes things don't always work out and settled on a one night trip. I found it to be an eye opener not so much physically, but mentally. I hope you enjoy this quick overnight video.

Thanks Marj, that was just shortly after being released from a bowel obstruction. In hindsight I went out a little early, Thanks for the positive comment

When I finally bite the bullet and start making my own videos, I imagine my first one will be similar to this. Kudos to you for not just beginning the journey, but a major kudos for not letting your condition stop you from doing what you love. I find not just solace in my trips, but I truly feel like being out in the wilderness heals me mentally and emotionally.
Thanks for bringing us along your adventures. Looking forward to more!

Thanks again, just grab a camera and go! Although I find putting it away for a certain amount of time is important and take time for yourself. The wilderness is truly healing. Making and editing videos is a grind, but rewarding. Cheers

Thanks for watching, small beautiful lake and with only 2 sites you'll be the only one there. Take the island site!
