Really fun to see a main character in a JRPG get torn to shreds by his female teammates instead of having them all fall over for him.

Nothing for the Seraphic Gate events that have happened so far involve any fourth wall breaking. However, the event for recruiting Hrist has her state, "But one day, a game with a truly magnificent leading role shall rise!" Which makes two games where she is aware of being shafted as a lead. She even gets a book weapon called "How to Get Your Own Game" which lets her do a move called Frenzied Shout. The description is "A mad scream full of grief and malice. Disrupts the spirit of a single enemy, inflicting a curse." I think Square Enix just enjoys tormenting Hrist at this point. XD

27:42 Not gonna lie. The very aggressive BGM with a Freya moaning when got hit can't make me think in a good way.
And imagine Freya and Fauxnel working together. They would kill each other in every minute.
The gist of what I've gathered, as my knowledge of the series is rather limited as I only played early game of the original Valkyrie Profile, Hrist strikes me as too much a machine to get a game of her own. Her sisters have a lot more of a personality that makes them more relatable characters, likely due to faults in 'sleeps' as a mortal, or whatever it's called. Hrist acts too much like what Odin and Freya want, whilst the other two are not so much that way. It just strikes me as likely being far too linear of a game as Hrist wouldn't deviate from what's expected of her.
