There's very little to add when you're listening to perfection, somebody whose vocal and intelligence is swirling around inside and is very capable of taking a simple story and making it special.
Apology, my comment crossed over to this comments section while I was listening to I Wanna Know About You, my first time to hear it. This true lady of music is just excellent on every song she delivers.
I've never heard of this lady before although I am familiar with the song! I love her rendition. If I had never had looked at her name and just listened I would sworn I was listening to Nancy Wilson! N
Remind me when I'm a child. My father always played that song in old casette player before he went to work. I miss that moment, but you know...life must go on
Very lovely simple arrangement which tells the story Bernard Ighner expressed so beautifully (pre the overloaded orchestral version) and deeply understood and delivered by Mick Hucknall also in a clamorous background of competing instruments and voices which he outshone. This version here is up there with those two.

A truly sensitive reading of this great song.
