This topic is all about me and am glad this issue has come to light. I am a muslim woman who her county civil war happened 30 years ago. I had orphan girls to take care of. I came to Western Country 14 years ago with help of Allah without helping no one else to survive my own life and with my kids. Imagine if I was stuck in back home with my girls. We should be get taped or killed but Allah planned this life am in. Imagine if I needed murham who gonna be murham someone who’s alone sylam seeker . And after Allah gave me everything and I started a job I thought will pay me good money, the first men who were so bad for me weren’t white unmuslim men rather my own brothers muslims with same country. Sad thing is that our men underestimate us cuz they think we belong the houses without seeing our own struggle. If woman had a man who taking care of her needs why she needs to suffer? Acwrwb, thank u Shiek Dr, Yasir Qadhi and my sister bless u all . Disclaimer: I don’t mean all men.
Yes exactly. Fathers need to be a good husband first and educate and be an example for their sons and daughter! So both genders know their rights and responsibilities in Islam so no one mistreats them!
One of the most important topics to address. May Allah reward you both! Ameen summa ameen 💕
Two of my favourite scholars

Assalamu'alaikum ustadz, kenapa pengertian Hadist menurut Allah swt Tuhan yang maha esa, tidak sama dengan pengertian Hadits menurut iman syafei, Hambali, Hanafi dan maliki, Tarmidzi, Bukhari Muslim, Ibnu Ma'ja, Abu Dawud, malik bin anas dan lain lain, serta sebagian besar ulama sampai sekarang ini ustadz
May anyone can translate the meaning of Aayahs revealed by Allah to Umme salma mentioned by Sir yasir at 18:54

I agree about getting knowledge easily but the amount of information and the contradiction online makes me personally confused.
But don't they say it's better for women to pray at home.I personally prefer praying at home.
yes it is better ot pray at home, but you get more reward for praying congregation. As a woman you freely have to choice to choose bc niether of them are bad, but for men its strongly recommended to pray in the masjid but women have that choice
Hidayah Afzal I don’t think there is more reward for women to pray in congregation vs. home...strictly speaking of the reward though. If a woman chooses to attend mosque, it is still beneficial
Subhanallah I now feel ashamed of advising so many people to listen to the Seerah by yasir qadhi. May Allah guide us all
why do you say that? Whats wrong with the seerah series?
@@basimahimmo1469 I'm afraid we are going to make new norm/rule of Islam. If we start this, some day women would be exposed in public which I think Islam does not support that. May Allah guide us in straight path and forgive us for our sins.
@Alim LVR I did the same and I also feel the same as well. May Allah Guide us. We are not supposed to make new major rule of Islam. O Allah save us from wrong doing and also save us following the wrong scholar! Ameen!
@@basimahimmo1469 There has been a bit of controversy surrounding yasir qadhi, I tried to ignore it but he crossed the lines. He was saying something about joj /majooj being zombies, silly stuff, and some more serious stuff. From what I could gather listening to other lectures about these issues, he is being heavily influenced by the Western 'orientalists' during his studies in the States. You see sister I'm not very knowledgeable in the deen, which is why I listened to the whole Seera series twice just so I could learn a little. Its kind of like drinking from a container, only to realize it had some dirt in it, only after drinking. You wonder if or how much of the dirt you have consumed. I still learnt a lot from the Seera but I am just confused now. He always used to go into his tangents and give his explanations/theories and I dont know how much of the junk he has filled my mind with, and the people whom I prescribed the series to. The best thing would have been to learn Arabic and read the books myself. May Allah protect us all and guide us
@Sarah Zafar Sorry sister you have mis understood us. We are not talking about the topic, rather the speaker (yasir qadhi). I think if you re read our comments you will understand. I think no one objects to sisters studying, especially the deen. In fact no one should object to women working if its in a halal environment, and does not impede their primary role ie being a mother, a wife etc. Ameen Jazakallah sister.
Why exactly is it important to have female scholars preaching to mixed gatherings?
to inspire the young girls of the ummah. seeing a woman with knowledge and wisdom will bring muslim girls closer to islam instead of thinking islam is backward thinking. Also did the prophets wife not preach to mixed gatherings? of course she did to narrate thousands of hadiths that are used by sooo many people today because of her.
Because of society and culture nowadays, the women in islam do not think there is a place for them because there i no representation and are therefore turning to the third wave feminism which is so far away from islam- you are making the ummah smaller not bigger!
@@hidayahafzal2342 Yes I fully agree there should be muslim female scholars and teachers out there teaching and inspiring young girls. However, I do think there is more harm than benefit in her teaching in front of mixed gatherings. I also believe it is not in the nature of a woman that she would *want* to sit in front of men to teach them ... But who knows maybe that's just from my own flawed thinking.
"Did the prophets wife not preach to mixed gatherings" yes, but in my knowledge only from behind a barrier where she was not visible to the men.
Beautiful Heart Soothing Recitations you need to watch this lecture if you are questioning this. They actually answered your question in the video! Please take the time to watch it BEFORE you comment/question.
@Miss O’Genist "You need to go to a society where no one respected in any domain looks like you, has a name like yours"
This fully applies to me, but you do not know me. And again, please don't misunderstand me, I know how important role models are and nowhere did I say I was against female scholars/role models.
Careful with your name btw, ppl might read it the wrong way ^^
Beautiful Heart Soothing Recitations are you female?
31:00 i dont want to learn in my home i want to go to medina or somewhere else. Why should I learn online when I don't like it? Instead try to change it.
23:00 If men find about this when they have dauthers then something is wrong with you.
26:00 Sounds unfair
47:00 still not your choice. Who are you to tell who what a woman should wear or not. Maybe she will enter jannah and not you.
1) I am pursuing higher education as a new parent, nothing beats the convenience for me to be able to finally complete my Bachelor’s without having to leave my job of 7 years. 2) I’ve learnt so many things from my toddler already, can’t imagine what else I can learn from another person as they grow up 3) Perspective. Some see it as an honour, others won’t even bother. 4) As a scholar of Islam, the sheikh is merely carrying the message that exists before Muhammad SAW, Isa AS, Moses AS, Ibraheem AS. There is no obligation in religion. Our entrance to Heaven or Hell is ultimately up to the One and Only God, Allah SWT. The statement of predicting if one enters Jannah or doesn’t (unless specified in Al-Qur’an or authentic Hadith) as you said is naive. My dear seeker of knowledge, let’s learn and open our heart and mind. InsyaAllah (by Allah’s will) we can improve our understanding and patience, Ameen.
Learning is in fact encouraged in Islam. However, I'm afraid after come back from learning our Sisters would seek for Job/making money which should not be the case. Rather that knowledge should be used for her children/family and society(indoor not in Public/media). Coz, Islam gives Women the proper protection and security. It is Husband's responsibility to take care of the wife(as per Islamic marriage contract). Wife/Woman should not worry about their career rather than taking care of children/home(according to my limited knowledge of Islam). Otherwise, I think we would end up with bigger problem in future and ultimately we would be caught in the eyes of Allah(Swt). May Allah protect us from Saitan, forgive us and guide us on the straight path! Aameen
Muhammad Rahman if a woman chooses earns, why is it your concern? Khadijah ra was a businesswoman herself!
No one is forcing you to study online. But those that do chose too (male or female) the convenience is there. But you would not be able to attend university of madinah, as it is all male school according to them. You can not accuse someone of not knowing something. Everyone has a different upbringing. Lastly, he is not telling anyone what to wear or not. In fact the opposite. He is saying too much credit is given to outward appearances.
