Thank you so much for posting this! I could NOT figure out how to get this band onto the frame. As you said, it did not come with any instructions except how to take out links which wasn't helpful with a mesh band.

What's your wrist size? How wide is your hand? Did you try the small band? It looks like hand size is a consideration here.

My wrist is around 7.5 inches around and my hand is approx 4.5 inches wide. I have plenty of room to slide it over my hand.
