Furawatchi4 I feel this ship is about the long term. It's easy to look at their characters and think, no way! Too much animosity! But when you really look at Kaachan, how he's changing, his relationship with Izuku all these years and how it's developing- for me it has such potential that it's impossible not to root for them. XD after all, Deku is wonderful and like he's said over and over again; Kaachan is /amazing/!

My interpretation! XD
Deku has feelings for Kachan since they were kids, but because of the constant bulling from Kachan, deku doesn't know what to do with his feelings. But when he sees Kachan in danger he just acts to save him. This is the point were Kachan starts to recognize/change his feelings towards Deku.
After that they go to take the entrance exam for the Hero Academy where... I guess they confess and start dating because when they are in the classroom is like they all want to know what type of relationship they have XD . But then they have to fight against each other during training, Kachan feel terrible after the training because he hurt badly Deku.
Deku chases after Kachan, but... I guess he broke up with him? Or doesn't wants to be with Deku because he hurted him badly? He feels terrible! D: he even cries!!! aaawwww!!

To me, I interpreted the story as Katsuki feeling touched for Deku trying to save him and that's why he goes after him and awkwardly says thank you, something Deku didn't really expect at all. So as they walk into the UA High, Deku feels his heart beating so fast as Katsuki walks with him inside. The kiss scene, well I felt Katsuki did try to kiss him but didn't understand if they really did kiss or not. Then Deku walks in class and everyone is teasing them of their relationship, something that embarrasses Katsuki. Then in the Villain vs. Hero, Katsuki hesitates but then goes all out when Deku encourages him but in the end felt deeply regretful for hurting him. In the end, I thought Katsuki thought it was best if they broke up or something.
Great story either way. I love it!
moenochrome Haha, it would break me too but its for Deku's sake! Also for his own because if he keeps worrying over Deku, he'll never become a full-fledged hero. I can imagine later on that Katsuki wouldn't be able to suppress his emotions, especially if he sees Deku in danger. He would still act irrationally.

I think BakuDeku is a perfect ship. I think that we need to be patient. It will take a while for Kacchan to open up to Deku. I think as a couple, they’d be great. Opposites attract! Deku brings out the humph in Kacchan and Kacchan brings out the humph in Deku lol. I really hope this ship happens. I really do ship this, I think that what they have here is true love.

I swear after watching this...this almost made me cry because after everything Izuku has been through and despite him wanted to be friends and Bakugo pushes him away, he just kept on trying and never gave up and the fact Bakugo blasted him; he forgave him, I uh think he could've at least been mad but it comes to me that Izuku is really good hearted person and that's proof he's a better person

After I watched your video I kinda thought to myself: Bakugou, after that incident with the slug monster, must have thought that Deku is a lot more like All Might than he is, wanting to save everyone, you know. And this feeling that Deku has more in him than he does must be what creates this contradictory feeling in Bakugou.

The fact that everyone calls this ship toxic even though they're the perfect opposites to cure each other of their respective craze. Izuku is too selfless for his own good and gets lost in his admiration for others while Bakugo is a selfish extremist. The hate that is usually shown between them is because of Bakugo's inferiority complex and Izuku having no choice but to fantasize about nature's equality. I am SUPER excited to see how their relationship unfolds whether it's platonic or romantic or any other complexity UwU
