- During ABBA's week at Bjorn and Benny Studio in the town of Kungav, they were visited by reporter Fredrik Belfrage and a young ABBA fan - also named Fredrik - for a sneak peak on recording sessions for the new album. This rare talk with Bhoyrn and bennty is probaly the only television interview with any ABBA members during the seven-month writting and recording period for ABBA - The Album. It also offers the first publicly heard sounds of the upcoming single 'The Name Of The Game'. The report was broadcast on the Swedish morning show Gornorron Sverige on Septmeber 17, 1977.
First question from the boy..."Where are Frida and Agnetha?" *LOL* Brilliant kid.

i just feel blessed to have lived in a lifetime where i got to enjoy these amazing musicians!! I never ever tire of their music, it's pure magic......Abba are a gift from above!....and they still bring a lump to my throat....such humble humans too!
Awww...I felt sorry for him. He really wanted to meet Frida and Agnetha. But I could sense his disappointment melting away as he saw the wonders of Benny and Bjorn in action playing music for him. Benny seems like such a sweet guy...what a great smile.

I love this song!🔥👏 with the best ABBA song in my favorites.😍🥳 The melody and the voices are so amazing. The sound for this time in the 70s is brilliant. Timeless to today. This Demo version is also fantastic.🙌

Playing the piano is easy, madame Commander. You just put your fingers somewhere on the middle of the keyboard,
then you bang on it and go: AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!

I was outside the studio one of the other days when Frida was around as well. I lived very close to the studio as also Status Quo used the same year.
This studio was in Kungälv Streaplers studio
I was lucky enough to see ABBA in concert in 1979 in Boston, Massachusetts (USA).
More than lucky, you were a witness
I visited the concert in Munich Olympia Hall at the 27th october 1979. Because of connections my sister and I stood before the stage. And my beloved Agnetha shook my hand ! My right didn' t see soap for 4 weeks 😉 And so the 27th october is a memorial day for me every year.
Was that the concert where their plane nearly crashed in a storm coming in?

INteresting he tells the young boy that Fernando a Pop song is easier than Dancing Queen which was considered a Disco Pop song but prbably 1 of the more complex Disco songs.
This kid, now an adult can claim to be one of the few people ever to play Fernando with ABBA. And people won't believe him...until...
