That was an awesome finale to an amazing trip. Huge thanks to you Nathan, Julian and Dave, plus all the other guys for their help, support and great company on this unforgettable trip around the rock. Must mention your excellent filming too Nathan, creating a wonderful record of this epic adventure!
Wow..!! What an inspirational set of trip films. It would have to be deep to touch my testicles, they were in my mouth half the time along with my heart..!! Well done to all of you.
What an epic once in a lifetime experience. Hope everyone has a good rest after that trip. One to remember for the rest of your days. And it’s been a great experience just watching you all, cheers Nathan. All the best, Rich.
What a character and confidence building adventure. Absolutely amazing what individuals can achieve with the right support, planning and encouragement. Fantastic Nathan, and well done all 😉
I'd make a comment but hardly know what to say, I'm gobsmacked at the environment and the tenacity of the group. Hard riding today and a great set of memories tomorrow. Wow 👍
Well done Nathan. Calm leadership throughout. Also, with all suffering from coughs and the flu, I think everyone did a first class job in tough conditions. Great filming with everything else going on.
Amazing footage Nathan and the team. Looks like the little Triumph has proven it’s worth on that trip, leading by example and safely navigating the group on that challenging terrain. Thanks for sharing the journey with us all and have a safe journey home.
That looked like a fun but tough adventure. Hope you’re going to take a few days out and relax with the family before getting ready for the next big trip!
Another brilliant video, what an adventure. Man vs machine vs Iceland I think you've shown anything is possible when you have the right person leading the pack. It's a challenging place even if you don't go off road. Well done to everyone
This has been such a good series. You've done a brilliant job getting these guys out there. It looks a brilliant, testing but ultimately rewarding tour. It showcases what can be done by normal folks on modest bikes for a reasonable price. Didn’t the guys in their late 60s do well 👏
Well done Nathan. I’ll bet you and the whole group will remember that trip, and this day, for many years to come. ‘Spectacular’ hardly does it justice. A lot of that water I’d prefer to fish for salmon in it than ride my motorcycle across it! Great adventure. Les
I was envious of you guys having such great riding in Iceland, but then I've been watching all those water crossings and now I'm thinking maybe I'm not so envious at all! I really hate getting water in my boots!
Thanks as always Nathan, awe inspiring and a huge Chapeau to you and the guys. Would it be possible to do a follow up video now the punters have recovered a little and to have their feedback and thoughts? Guessing there’ were a few grumpy moments at the time but on reflection immense pride in the achievements?
Great job, Nathan Have you ever thought of taking this up for a living 😅 Think you will need to get some extra guides for next year as this will be a very popular adventure Epic, dramatic and fun Excellent job 👏
Looks brilliant hard going in places but good fun .... definitely a lighter bike is the key I reckon....its funny hitting water the unknown.....plus as long as you don't mind getting wet feet.?? Lots of dry socks??
Fair play on those water crossings & the riding in general. Look fabulous Are the crossings marked on the map at all or are they so season dependent they don't bother. I noticed road signs so assume all those F roads are marked
That day had everything, the scenery was unreal. I sense some of the group were really stretched but will look back with fond memories. Did the support van follow you through water crossings?
You're probably referring to Graham who at 69 couldn't stand for long on the bike, if at all. But he was in those river crossings like a shot and would have done the same again the next day. Some people were already using all they'd got.
It looks cold, how cold was it? Very baron landscape, grey and vast. Did most of the guys know what they were getting into, or was it a shock for some? A real adventure for sure.
Sorry for the late reply Orange man. Just seen it. It wasn't too cold. Between 10 and 20 degrees. Windy though. I think most knew what they were getting into. A few were probably unprepared for it, but I vary the route and allow people to go and do other more gentle things on days like this one. Some for a swim in the hot springs instead of wading through rivers!
@nathanthepostman no worries for the late reply, you are a busy man. That sounds amazing. Brother and Mike want to book a day with you. Brother looking to buy the MT
@nathanthepostman looks chilly😂 so on a trip like this what tyre models/percentage dirt:road tyres are you recommending to the riders? Not sure what the total mileage of this trip comes to? Safe home 👊👍
The best tyre for this trip turned out to be the stock tyres on the Voge 300 Rally. Barely lost any tread and were plenty grippy enough. All the Anakee Wilds, TKC80s, AX41s were almost toast after 2000 miles of fairly high wearing gravel/dirt. You definitely don't need an aggressive knobbly
Do you turned off the abs and transaction control for this ride? By the way… do you think it is possible to do such a ride with the scrambler 400x without the new suspension?
Yes I did some of the time turn it off. Not all the time. To be honest neither system is intrusive on this type of riding, only when you start pushing harder. But yes absolutely, you could do this trip on a standard 400 no problem at all.
Brilliant leadership skills by Nathan here ...A masterclass in mentoring ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Impressive fording depth for the Triumph!
Nathan a new book in the making ,give your back a rest ,your becoming a legend in my eyes
Brilliant ride and scenery.

Those horses at the end...fabulous.

Wow! Tough gig on the last day, very well played to the whole tenacious team.
Looks brilliant... nice to see a scram in the mix
Great stuff ! Many thanks for showing us Iceland
Well done all, a tremendous adventure!
Top job all 👍
Makes Strata Florida look tame 🤣
I'd make a comment but hardly know what to say, I'm gobsmacked at the environment and the tenacity of the group. Hard riding today and a great set of memories tomorrow. Wow 👍
Thanks Trevor. Definitely won't forget it in a hurry!
Amazing landscape - the guys did great on those increasingly challenging river crossings!
Thanks Mole. Yeah we were glad when we got to that bridge
@@nathanthepostman I bet you were! The Triumph did well then. Are you going to share your thoughts on it after such a good test?
What an inspiring series of videos, thanks, Nathan and all other riders…,
Johannes
Thanks Johannes
Great Vids Nathan. Love your support and encouragement for the guys.
Bloody tough day that. Respect to all.🙏🙏👍
Thanks Phil!
Very inspiring trip!
Great footage Nathan 👌
"Testicle deep" I like that phrase, good to see that you guys made it ok. Cheers to you all, and thank you for visiting Iceland!
Well done Nathan. Calm leadership throughout. Also, with all suffering from coughs and the flu, I think everyone did a first class job in tough conditions.

Well done Nathan. Great tour and guidance. Looks amazing. Good job!
Great series to watch. Thanks for sharing 👍

Amazing. I would love to do that.
Amazing scenery and great riding. Thanks for taking us on the journey Nathan 👍
No worries. Thanks Chris

I think you are all very brave. Well done and thanks Nathan for the amazing video footage.
Excellent work one and all, you all deserve an EPIC award from Nathan!
Thanks DrDoo. A nice cup of tea at the end was good reward!
Good team effort! Some of that reminds me of Fjordland in New Zealand and some upper Sweden/Norway back roads. Should have bought Derri boots!
Epic.. Test man and machine, not want it cold when getting so wet.
Safe trip Home.
Interesting to see the Voge 300 Rally coping with the terrian.
That looked like a fun but tough adventure. Hope you’re going to take a few days out and relax with the family before getting ready for the next big trip!
man. that was the best looking beautiful herd of horses i have ever seen. and i have seen none.
Ha. Me neither.
the sheep are equally beautiful!
Epic trip, gotta be one of the toughest Dorothy’s speed shop trips. Well done to you all for completing in one piece.
That was a fantastic tour you guys have all been on ,WOW
Looked fun but fooking chilly :)

Class Nathan. Not easy for you sir being the main guy. Safe trip. All.
No, not my easiest guiding day I'll be honest. But we got there.
Iceland - the gift that keeps on giving. Where else would you get a shot like that, running with the horses.
Yes, was a spectacular sight. Great timing.
Onya champions 🏆 🥇
That looks tremendous fun. Less so with the man flu 😅
I don't know about you and your group but I need a holiday after just watching the trip🙂🙃
Ha. Definitely!
Triumph as a feeler gauge !
And as you say give it good suspension and 21 at the front . Then your cooking with gas 😂
Tell Triumph's marketing department the cheque better be in the mail😂
Ha. I wish. Didn't even get a response from them.

Bit cheeky but how are the voge doing?
This looks arduous.
You don't need waterproof socks and boots, thought that's what the crocs are for 👍
It was proper Crocs with socks weather for sure!
@@nathanthepostman time for some lemsip and a proper bed for a few days by the sound of it 👍
realy enjoy your channel
as an icelander and biker i like your take on adventure
looking at getting a cfmoto 450 to go with my bmw r9t
Pretty impressed with the Voge Rally's. Too bad not an option in the United States.
Fair fucking play to that 69 year old! I'm 52 and I would have struggled with that.
try standing up!! after11 days, some still planted in the saddle paddling like a duck ;)

Is that someone in your mirror having a piddle at 1:38 ?😂😂😂
How did you cope with wet boots socks feet, what is the secret
I wonder if those cyclists got across the water any easier?
I would suspect they just carried them across. That last big crossing there was a pedestrian bridge so they probably took that.
Wetter than America!!
Ha. Just a bit!
