I think the concept of that ball thing is that it moves along the third dimension aswell as just going up and down like in gd. I could be wrong tho.

It’s just the ball but 3d; it goes up as y, forward for x, and now to the sides for z. For easier controls it just goes 90 degrees clockwise like sammelot said, and Deluge said its called the tetrahedron mode, which i believe is the title of the shape
