No shit? My first rust server was Savas and people were screaming everywhere and constantly getting shot by people with pumps & crossbows, and I was like "Is this server noob friendly?" and then got called every bad word possible in chat xD
Bruh same, my first 30 secs in the game was spawning on the beach, looking around and first person that runs up to me is just screaming "fuck you N****R"

My first experience in rust was to log in, kill 3 guys with a spear, get accused of hacking, team with the guy who accused me. Become great friends with him, now when I check my steam friends list I see "Last online 2789 days ago".
I'd like to think hes fine and just forgot his password but I know better than that, he was suffering from cancer, so the chances are hes gone. We played for almost 2 years together before he stopped coming back. Great guy, even in his condition he never complained about life, just loved playing games. Miss you Jappie.
I pray that he beat cancer and that he did indeed forgot his password. I wish the best for you.

I play in a big Zerg when I get tired of the solo experience, and I’m constantly on their ass about being nice to people like this. I enjoy being nice to new players, and this video shows exactly why. It’s refreshing to see a dude with absolutely no loot, spending an hour+ hardsiding a wall to gain absolutely nothing, and still having a good time.

Dude this is absolutely the content that should drive Rust. There's millions of epic raid videos and while those are awesome.... there's nothing quite like the wholesome interactions of the elite player helping out the underdogs and newbies and giving them a great experience. There's too much toxicity. In game or IRL. The world needs more kindness. And maybe a little more cowbell. ;)

I like how you've adapted hJune, i used to watch you a lot before you took a bit of a hiatus from rust content, on the old recoil. I still have certain memories seared into my brain from your videos, like when you were solo flanking a zerg out of team UI and killed 8 of them, doubles and triples each of them, or in a video landing back to back to BACK bolt headshots on coffeecans/hazy's. Nowadays your content is a lot less orientated around being that pvp chad that can 1v9 a wipe, but more so just a veteran rust player enjoying the game for what it is and bringing that joy to anyone you find along the way, just like how the game used to be.
i wanna see a series where you bring a newbie along, and teach them things. i wanna see their progression. wouid be so cool!

My first time on rust was actually pretty good because I’ve played other games pretty completely before rust so I had a good basis of fundamentals especially for aiming so I low key went crazy solo, then my cousin got rust and now we’ve been duoing

I have probably less than 20 hours in legit servers "actually" playing Rust. 170 hours on steam from various servers (just pvp, 10x and others). But I know I've watched more than 500 hours of content from tons of awesome creators.

my first time was me joining an official, finding about the game, struggling to get enough cloth and even googling how to find some, building a 2x2 which then expanded to a 3x3 with 2 doors, next thing I remember is me logging on and seeing my 3x3 get absolutely demolished by a 6 man.

I started playing rust early/ mid this year and got really addicted also learned the game really quick. Wen I first got it I started playing average 5-12 hours a day for 2 months straight and got up to 550-570 hours. I only played modded tho cuz it was way easier to learn the game I would like to think I have the same gun skill as someone who has 10k+ hours especially with ak im terrible with prim stuff. After those 2 months I stopped playing just got really burnt out from all that but after couple months I started playing again nothing like before 5-12 hours a day just going into servers and pvping.
First time playing rust. Build on the very edged of the map , farm for like 3 hours , then Some random 4 man with ak walk by , raid our base clap then leave. First and last experience 10/10

My first rust experience was in 2016 and when I joined a server got scared by a Bear and the bear ran after me until it got dark and I got stuck on a rock when it became day the bear killed me.
