- You may have seen the Pinecone and thought that it looks nice but doubted that it could ever compare to a real crawler like the SCX24. Well, you're certainly right in thinking that it wouldn't be as capable but it's not quite as far off as you might think!

My friend has the pinecone and for the price it is an amazing little rig and the detail and realism is amazing such a good little rig we all know what a scx24 can do they are very expensive and not as detailed great video keep up the good work
Thanks for the nice words.
I agree, they're great little trucks and well worth adding to any mini crawler collection!
Great video, I’m thinking of getting a one sometime to take on holiday. After watching this I may get a larger scale
An SCX24 is a perfect car to stick in a rucksack for a little play.
Nice video and slate paradise :) It didn't run all that bad really. I'd like an alloy Pinecone of the original defender with a bit bigger tires and portals. (And without the gimmicky bagage cases).
Yeah, it's not too bad.
I'm totally with you about new versus old Defenders. I'd like an old one with regular sized tyres and straight axles, though. Scale is good and I've never seen a real Defender with portals.
