- A poem I wrote for my friend Rich back in 1996 after he helped me back from a very bad place. I love you Rich!
I thought it was somehow appropriate to my YT friends because talking to you via this medium has also helped me in ways I probably don't even realize. Thank you!

I'll be cooking a bit and working on the new house.

Debbie that was amazing some of the words are just very touching, one of the best phrases for me was. "Remebering who i am and what i am worth. What i mean to others the reason for living". thank you for sharing. Happy thanksgiving to you and your family.
Oh Deb! Such beautiful writing and so true. Sometimes just talking about our feelings is like lancing a boil. The scar remains but the infection drains. When the "right" listener is there it helps more. Thank you for doing this - it's wonderful.
Yeah, so what if it's a sort of repeat, the progress is amazing and wonderful. I'm looking forward to seeing your upcoming videos about the house. Maybe with snow falling outside and you guys safe and warm indoors.

Oh so cool! Yeah, that would be a perfect amount of winter! :) Sort of Camelot kind of weather.
Radiant floor heating? Perfect. Warm toes in January; it doesn't get any better than that.
I'm knitting up some bamboo tape I got last week on vacation. It is so silky and soft. Just a narrow scarf for pretty, not for warm, but oooh baby!

Sad but true, Sue! And we have the videos to prove it! I was just watching my husband TimberGeek's vid from last Thanksgiving when we were laying the cyprus flooring. This year we are also working with wood, but it's the tongue and groove white pine ceiling of the second floor! Videos to come! LOL We did move in the refirgerator today, the last appliance! We really are getting close to moving in... really, honest! ;-)

Hi Liz, Happy Thanksgiving to you! Yes, we are warm working in the new house now as the radiant heating system was just completed (ca-ching! LOL) so at least we aren't all bundled up like last year! That CO (Certificate of Occupancy) is so close I can TASTE it! ;-) No snow yet here, but flurries yesterday that never stuck to the ground. It can hold off as far as I'm concerned. Snowfall on Christmas Eve and then Springtime by January 1st would be great! HAH!

You know you're my coolest artsy friend right? And even though you were a huge "W" supporter and fan and I'm not that into "W" like you are... you're someone I look up to, appreciate, and don't stay in touch with nearly as well as I should.
"W" means Wobegon, as in Lake Wobegon doesn't it? I never got THAT into Garrison Keillor. I mean he's good and all, but I don't hear choirs of angels when he comes on the radio like you do. *grin* I looked and looked on NPR's site to find those "W" stickers.
Hi Deb!! Our Thanksgiving was okay..it was us and the two kids and Jill's mom. Jill's dad just today has been taken back to the hospital (he was in a rehab unit)They checked his blood levels and they are again to low..so he has gone for transfusions again..Everyone here is fine..kids and Jill went Black Friday shopping today..will be heading to the hospital soon. Hope all is well with you both!! xoxoxo
I miss you guys so much. We need to make a road trip one of these days when we have two pennies to rub together to buy gas! Can we come even if we have no money for the casino? LOL We are in a money crunch because everyone working on the house wants some. Funny how that happens. Not like the good old days when we could barter with a chicken or something. Come to think of it we don't even have a chicken. Dang, we're screwed!

You have to ask??? lol..of course you can come..we don't always have to go to the casino..we also have the money crunch thing going on..but always have something we can throw in pot to feed us all..name the time..Jill is having three day weekends..including December 1st, 8th, 15th, and 19th..she had some time off coming to her..lol..so pick a time..we will be here..:)
