I do think as a whole British style does have more of an edge. And the same with the models we produce. America's models throughout history have been the more conventionally beautiful. The US doesn't produce Kate Mosses or Cara Delevignes. And we don't really do the whole Abercrombie/American Eagle/Gap, and while I can't speak for the US, I don't see the clothes you see in Topshop for instance being as popular. But I think that applies across industries like our rap artists for instance.

+Alistair Drennan I'm American and totally agree. America in general feels very wholesome and conventional. Cara? Not for me. Love Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell though. And yes, the whole Abercrombie, Surfer Boy thing is so lame. Why would anyone want to dress like that? They look like a bunch of drones.
