The beginning breakdown was great! I think it brings great details and reason to the how/why you chose each of your cards. I also really liked the explanation of the cards you put in and took out.
I just got back into PTCG. I appreciate your videos, as the new PTCG live is new to me, and you are full of insight. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos.
Hi Snake, glad to hear you're getting value out of the videos. You are exactly the type of viewer I'm thinking about with these, so I'm glad they're reaching the right audience. Thank you and good luck with PTCG Live!!
Just started playing the TCG about 2 weeks ago and i've been using the Christian Fontenot Chien-Pao build (Late Night 179), which is super similar to this, and it's absolutely steamrolling at the moment. Keen to see how it will do at EUIC!
Gee!!! That's sick, i had my Lugia Cincinno barely squeaking out a W, i had luck because he couldn't pull another Chien Pao, cause if he did, he would absolutely won that match
Great video Vyse. Love how you chose some games with some clear challenges instead of ez donks. Are you going to Perth Regionals? Back in the SSBB days I watched your videos for Diddy Kong inspo, now I'm watching you for Chien Pao inspo hahaha
Hey Ghnaschnakoff, thanks so much for the kind words and feedback. Won't be able to make it to Perth unfortunately, but I'm sure I will one day! Thats so awesome that you watched way back when...I do miss playing Brawl a ton, broken characters and all 😆
Hm good question...I think my mindset at the time was I wanted to hold the vacuum as another 'out' in the following turn if needed. It felt like a good opportunity to use Iron Hands again. In reality yes, it might have been just as effective to use the vacuum, but then if they put up Gardevoir I need to find 6 energy for Chien-Pao (or find a way around it). Truthfully using vacuum could have been a better play...good catch!
@@VyseGames yea coz I think if you vac'd they'd be forced to send the garde ex and if u knock that out you'll have 1 prize remaining which pretty much wins I think
