Yes so you want to scroll to the very bottom, where there is a “recipe card” that lists all the steps for the starter. There is a button at the top, under the title and description, that says PRINT. Let me know if that makes sense!

I just started today, the 2:1 flour to water ratio seemed really dry to me. I’m using a locally (to me) grown einkorn flour. I’m assuming that if my mix is too dry (not moving at all) then it’s okay to add enough water to make it at least move a bit as you’ve shown in the video?

Why are you discarding? The waste of all these starter tutorials is staggering. Our ancestors that created this method didn’t “waste anything”. Look up no waste starter videos and choose a one that doesn’t throw away perfectly good baking materials which cost money.
If anything you can use this same method but cut the measurements to tablespoons instead of cups of materials and just add to it each day without discarding. If you use organic einkorn flour the results will be amazing and only take about 4-5 days.

@@problemswehate.1310 when I say “discard”, it doesn’t mean “throw out”. I have many discard recipes on my blog theduvallhomestead.com. Save the discard and use it for pancakes, pizza crust, pies, etc!
