it can do 7.2kw single phase or 11kw 3 phase, so a full charge from empry to full will be around 6.5hrs on single phase or 4.5 hrs with three phase just depends on how many phases you have at available at home
For a 7.2kw charger, you need to get this installed in your garage by an electrician/technician and hooked into a dedicated RCD on your mains board. They run to a couple of grand upwards in NZ, likely similar in Oz. You can also get a 4kw charger that plugs into a caravan socket for a couple of hundred bucks, which is what I bought as I already have one of these outlets on my house, but they're also not expensive to wire up by your sparky either. And the bonus is that you can then use any campground as an additional potential charging station.
...for a rough estimate of the charging time, just divide the number of kw/hrs you need to top up by the charge rate of your charger. So if your battery is depleted by 21kwhr, it will take around 3 hours to top that up with a 7kw charger (21 / 7). You can also charge straight out of a normal 3-pin plug on your house, which is what the standard cable that comes with the car does, this charges at a little under 2kw, so would take 11 hours to recharge that 21kwhr depletion. Any credible environmentalist would steer clear of this concept. The mining required to build them, then the strain they place on the grid during their service life renders them just as bad as ice cars. Not to mention that many are sourced from China:- a nation committing genocide and harvesting organs, as well as having shocking environmental regulations. The issue is not how a car is propelled, but the sheer number of them. There are people in big cities with cars who literally just don't need to own them. If you wish to make a genuine difference to global emissions..........just ride a bike, catch a train or, shock, horror..........try walking! 🚶🚴
Most of the load on the grid is from home charging. Home charging is done off-peak (at least if electricity suppliers provide Time Of Use $/kWh rates). And remember that somehow we managed to survive the burgeoning use of home air-conditioning which uses about the same daily amount of energy as an EV, but does so at peak times.

@@qilu2004 no, atto3 isn't available in my country (yet?), so I only sat in the MG which felt pretty good to me. But still, that's a good point, more padding does feel more premium.
I was however mostly talking about the visual style that is maybe just too "avant-garde" for me :P
@@CHARpieBJJ atto3 is available in australia.
It lacks range, true fast charging and feels a bit too heavy.
Great…. You just can’t charge it. Going to look good sitting in your garage.
I'll keep my cheaper, much more environmentally friendly petrol car thanks.
Byd is from gwm Haval?
No BYD is a separate company. Currently one of the largest manufacturers of EV's in the world. Mostly trucks, busses and machinery but moving quickly into cars.
It's crazy to me that this is the cheapest EV in Australia but the website doesn't say the price at all.
Reasons why people won't invest right now: Stocks/Crypto crashing, Record inflation, Bear market fears, Rising interest rates, Housing bubble talk, but maybe, these are reasons to invest now.`;°
After it all crashes then you invest. Get the stuff no one wants for dirt cheap. Then your losses are minimal if things don’t pick up. Everyday as food goes up your money is worth less. It’s good now to have a lot of precious metals on hand. The value is skyrocketing.
The key is knowing what you own and getting the best price possible. Falling prices give you the opportunity to lower your average cost. It’s a gift.
These days the best way to come into the market space is patience and seeking guidance when necessary, due to my line of work i can’t handle my portfolio so i just copy the trades of *Ann McGrath Elliott* She is very reliable I must say and she's quite with her operations. Her trades are sure and give realistic profit and she manages all risks effectively.
What a coincidence to see who trades with *Ann McGrath Elliott*
I've been making a lot of profits learning and investing with her for years now. She is one of the best mentor/trader I have ever worked with in the past few years, she knows how best to deal with whatever market situation.
Where can I find her for financial assistant. She seems proficient and well-grounded.
Seems like someone is high on propaganda, lmao. The UN said NO evidence can be found of those allegations.
🤣 $50k is now a budget car?? Crazy world
