Please let me know your feedback on this episode! Long form content is something I personally watch a lot of here on UA-cam and I am excited to share some myself. This is just the start and if you have any future guests suggestions, please let me know!
Since I'm already a fan of both your channels, a lot of the topical conversation was stuff I've heard already, but the added pressure that Adam was going through reminds me a lot of what Hot Ones videos are like. Very entertaining. Would love to see more of this.
This was an awesome video, would love to see more long form videos exactly like this with different fitness youtubers/ enthusiasts (and the bioneer back on ofc). The outdoor aspect mixed with sauna and cold plunge also make it really unique. Great work
Adam, as a guy who can do maybe 3% of what you can, your fail montages are my favorite. Your handstands might not look like Tom's, but the fact that you can achieve them along with all the other stuff you do gives me hope that I can learn them, too! And the fact that I can see you fall a few times while laughing until you achieve it - that keeps me going. Don't stop!
The Hot Seat is one of a few interesting projects we've been building in the background! It's been great fun working alongside Tom and helping rekindle his love for making videos. Love how this episode has turned out and looking forward to the rest of the series!
Two of my favourite fitness UA-camrs whom I've been following for years doing an epic colab. Tom, Adam, Sauna, Cold Water and Molly. What more could you want?!
No way. What a crossover!!!! This is something I never expected to see on my feed but what a way to end my day😍congrats on the podcast launch Tom. Will be looking forward for future episodes. And great collab with Adam
Mannnnn, this is so dope. I have been following both for so long. Routines and movements from both have been staple in my workouts for like 4-5 years. Its awesome to see you both sharing thoughts and ideas👊🏽💙
I absolutely agree that running once a week is helpful. If you’re outside, you experience nature, you’re exercising different muscles and it’s just a fun variation.
MOST ENJOYABLE ! What a pleasure to watch, not just listen to but to take in the whole atmosphere. Watching this at 5am in Sydney, I could smell those coffee grinds from beyond the screen and lens ! I could have sworn that you guys had already come together and spoken prior to this but at this point my brain has already melded all the people in our fitness culture together. Much appreciated and with much anticipation for future episodes !
I'm a once or twice a week runner. In the winter admittedly this becomes less consistent. 😅. I have found finding a solid hill and doing hill sprints(sprinting up,walking down) to be more enjoyable and better on my joints than tradiitional running("Jogging") on concrete at steady pace. I remember reading in the 5/3/1 book when I was younger that the cardiovascular standard was to maintain 20 sprints to that of a workhorse running back. (hill sprints were his preferred supplement of cardio to what was normally a strength/powerlifting type of routine) i'm no football player, but it always stuck with me as a fun standard/analogy to at least be able to hit or strive towards. i also like to just go for long walks as often as I can to just get general low impact activity/movement as well as fresh air/decompressing which a lot of people, particularly younger people(me as well at one point) just write off as a "waste of time".
I absolutely lovelove running. It's really satisfying upping your weekly mileage relative to yourself (ignore the nutters doing 40-90 mile weeks!) For anyone that lives close to one I highly recommend parkrun. It's a free timed 5k every Saturday morning in parks all over the world now. Mostly UK based but big in South Africa. Everyone from pro athletes pushing crazy PBs to groups of old grannies walking it and talking about their week. I never regret going for a run. Even if I can only do 5k a week I'll try and do that because it just heals me. I also like being good at running and not looking like a runner. (6ft, 14 stone, big) And occasionally it's incredibly useful, having to run across town or a few miles to a bus stop and not getting tired feels awesome.
Loved this whole episode! I agree that I often consume long form content on UA-cam, and this was a really great take on the podcast format. I'm sure it helps that my two favourite fitness UA-camrs were the people doing it, but really enjoyed it!
Brilliant, 2 of my favourite tubers together. Love the aspect of not getting too hung up on one thing. I always say to people is a grade B/C OK then sound be for your training etc
Thank you for this. Very inspiring and helping. I am not a real focus person either. I like to try different things and feel me better on it. More balanced. If I start to focus the risk of injury is higher.
To start running I've found going once a week and focusing in sprint distance form runs. There is a lot of bad running technique and it's worth engraining how to do it well, even if you never go farther.
After being extremely active all my life I have now had to have a total hip replacement in my mid 40’s. It would be great if there could be more videos where there are exercises and routines revolved around movements that are not high impact. However, in the meantime will still love your videos and take from them what I can do in my situation.
Are there any books you would recommend to someone who wants to learn more about the basics of fitness? Something that gives a good introduction to understanding human body. Muscles, tendons, nerves, nutrition, etc. Also, different ways of maintaining or improving your body, for example how hypertrophy works, how stretches work and what actually changes physically. How to deal with recovery as well, especially when it comes to different types of injuries for example muscle vs tendon. I love the content both of you put out and I'd like to know what are the resources you go to in order to educate yourselves. Thank you!
I would like to see something starting with the ankles and working up the body. Old soccer injuries have affected the mobility of my ankles which I believe my body is compensating for leading to back and shoulder strains. I think it would be beneficial to have a program that works on stretching and mobility from the ground up!
Please let me know your feedback on this episode!

I loved the set-up and content!
As a long term subscriber for both your channels, I loved this collaboration! Great stuff!
I had an absolute blast filming this and was great chatting - even if it was a tad cold! Thanks again guys (and Molly!) 🔥🔥
Tom straight up trying to freeze out the competition !😅
Let me remind you, stuff ur capable of doing is imposible for 70-80% of the population

Great to see two of my fav yt'ers connecting! yay!
Very cool guys!
Would love to see you guys on the Hot Seat ! =)
Cheers Josh, we’ll have to make the trip over and have you on 💪
Adam gave you a shout-out at around 31:40 for the floor-desk idea!
The best podcasts aren't podcasts, they are just themed conversations between a couple of people - NAILED IT BOYS

This was a great and unexpected crossover. Two of my favourite fitness youtubers. Both so articulate, thoughtful and unpretentious.
Glad you enjoyed it!

BIONEER AND TOM?!?!?!? Am I dreaming??? Awesome!!
Two 21st century UK Physical Culture Pioneers! Love to see it brothers.
What a completely unexpected combo, really looking forward to this!
always thought it combines biology and engineer. Never thought about pioneer. Lol

Have been waiting for this multiverse moment for too long!
My man Tom. I really enjoyed this one and please do more of those! Super creative stuff Tom, keep up the amazing work. Also a lot love for Molly ❤🐶
So good to see a podcast from you Tom!!🙌🏿👏🏾😊💜
Thanks 💪
You guys should do more together, loved this!
You're both so humble and have a holistic approach - something youtube desperately needs :)
Molly = VIP
Love Adam’s ideas and training philosophy. Sure we will do more in the future 💪
wooooow i love this atmosphere☕☕☕🌹🌹🌹
Two of my favorite channels! I owe both of you a lot for getting me into training during the pandemic.
Awesome! Happy we could help
Oooh the podcast I didn't know I needed!
Two absolute legends!
Glad to see the podcast is back! 🎉
Love this new format! Good on ya Tom!

'Hot seat'- great choice for a podcast title :) love to see more of this!
I just want to say thank you for all your hard work I enjoy your follow alongs thanks a lot God bless you brother
Echoing a lot of comments but thanks for all the stuff you put out guys. Your content has helped a lot on my fitness journey.

Couldn't agree more
what a great collab!! Keep em coming
This is the evolutionary step of your content, well done man! This was great! Keep it up! :)
What a nuts crossover, thanks for this podcast ❤
Great format and fantastic first guest!
This was super Tom. Would love to see chats with Emmet & Mikael, Ross Edgley, Mark Lewis, the Storror guys, or the Wide Boyz!
Strength side also🔥
Love the suggestions. I can confirm that some of those will be on soon 👍
A great watch guys! Looking forward to more
My two favorite people!!! Yay!!
love this, to have the goat on the first episode amazing stuff

Such a great video man. I love it!
Hubermans and Hot Seats, what a time to be alive
@12:20 He missed the opportunity to show gamification by throwing the stick for Molly
Really fun to see that duo!

the only to guys are follow.
Need breathe and flow to make it complete.
I was waiting for a scream from some random passerby off camera every time Adam tossed that stick. :)
No sticks were harmed in the making of this video
What do you think to Andrew hubermans stretching podcast going over protocols to follow with mobility and stretching?
Been waiting for this
Started out strong!
Almost to 1 million Tom!
😂😂 Adam did not enjoy the cold water, Tom's voice stayed the same while in the water and Adams was very tense 🤣
cool format
very cool!
This is so great!
The cold made it infinitely cooler
It's not exactly scorching in Denmark at the moment, but surely it can't be that cold in the UK (breath "vapor" in July)?
was recorded at the beginning of the year
@@TimBelchamber Roger that
Thought this was a great video. I’ll recommend to others
what in the sean cody
Was this sped up in parts? It was hard to understand at times.
I think both Adam and I can speak quickly. Sometimes 0.75x speed is good for that
A lot of blah blah blah. First shirts come off at 39:48 Lol.
you mean fun-functional!
The dog stole the show.
There's a 6'6 guy who can planche bro it's not impossible
I always thought bioneer was bio and engineer.
No wonder you guys are freezing. You've barely got an ounce of body fat to share between the two of you. Fun podcast!
Legenss
How tall is this man in american inches?
3
The same as he is in UK or international inches 😂
I’d convert it from Canadian inches, but dividing by 9 is tough
I’m 6”4, Adam is 5”8
Adam looks and sounds uncomfortably cold. Not the best environment for a guest who doesn't tolerate the cold as well as the presenter.
I'd suggest fitnessfaq, MovementbyDavid, vahva fitness, calisthenicmovement, gmbfitness and simonsterstrength.. oh and kneesovertoes
