As a young design engineer I used to design the mills and calandars fro Francis SHAW and Joseph’s Robinson in the U.K., but I never saw one working until UA-cam. Big machines, big horsepower and fine tolerances. Loved my job and it looks less sweat was created at my desk than running a 84” mill

@@tomtd I work in a tire factory and we process a lot of rubber. Our main mixer is two stories tall and is run by a pair of 2000hp 4000volt motors. But, being a Millman is less work than what I see in almost all these videos as we have blend rollers and multiple mills.
