How is it police, government officials and in this case security guards, always use the line "where did you get your law license" or "are you a lawyer", but we as citizens are not allowed to plead innocent due to ignorance of the law? Sometimes I feel sorry for rental cops because they are ill-prepared to carry out their duties in situations like this. It forces them to make rules or interpret rules to the best of their knowledge, instead of being trained who to contact to get the correct corroborating information. That supervisor was in no way prepared and should not be in a position of supervision.

I'd suggest brushing up on history and the incredibly difficult experiences people endured to secure those rights. Knowledge is power. I got the UA-cam channel about a 1 1/2 yr ago. I was astonished at how disrespectful most of the auditors were. It was like they were trying to force officers to react and violate their rights. Then I happened on Long Island Audit. What a breath of fresh air.
I am appalled that these employees are so uneducated in actual law. The rudeness and condescending of these employees. I don’t even work in a government building and know there’s no expectation of privacy in public. That security guard is just ignorant no common sense . Press pass and you work for yourself your not a journalist so anyone who works for themselves like a Plummer your not really a Plummer I can t believe what I’m hearing. I guess anyone who actually knows laws have a law license maybe they should open up a book. This was embarrassing for the state of Tennessee .
When I was a hitch hiker for 16 years, people would record me all the time. Because I patched up my clothes with random shirt designs and so many pockets I would lose things in them. But I wasn't ignorant enough to realize that I was sticking out like a sore thumb and tourists always found it very interesting. I understood that while I was in the public if I didn't want to be recorded, I just covered my face. If it was for their entertainment, I would ask for at least 5 bucks for recording me for entertainment purposes, especially when I was playing guitar for cash. But I never demanded it. Only if people could afford it. You can own a home these days and be more broke than most people that are homeless. Especially less then us travelers that travel specifically to make money.
I would feel sorry for the rent-a-cops if it were not for the fact that they were violating Sean's (and everyone else's) rights. Sometimes learning is a painful process but hopefully they gained some knowledge that day. BTW they probably get paid peanuts.

I got the UA-cam channel about a 1 1/2 yr ago. I was astonished at how disrespectful most of the auditors were. It was like they were trying to force officers to react and violate their rights. Then I happened on Long Island Audit. What a breath of fresh air.
And we pay these so called officers millions...wow
I am appalled that these employees are so uneducated in actual law. The rudeness and condescending of these employees. I don’t even work in a government building and know there’s no expectation of privacy in public. That security guard is just ignorant no common sense . Press pass and you work for yourself your not a journalist so anyone who works for themselves like a Plummer your not really a Plummer I can t believe what I’m hearing. I guess anyone who actually knows laws have a law license maybe they should open up a book. This was embarrassing for the state of Tennessee .

South Dakota needs auditing, especially the Lincoln county courthouse and minnehaha county. Smaller communities are the worst
When I was a hitch hiker for 16 years, people would record me all the time. Because I patched up my clothes with random shirt designs and so many pockets I would lose things in them. But I wasn't ignorant enough to realize that I was sticking out like a sore thumb and tourists always found it very interesting. I understood that while I was in the public if I didn't want to be recorded, I just covered my face. If it was for their entertainment, I would ask for at least 5 bucks for recording me for entertainment purposes, especially when I was playing guitar for cash. But I never demanded it. Only if people could afford it. You can own a home these days and be more broke than most people that are homeless. Especially less then us travelers that travel specifically to make money.

I would feel sorry for the rent-a-cops if it were not for the fact that they were violating Sean's (and everyone else's) rights. Sometimes learning is a painful process but hopefully they gained some knowledge that day. BTW they probably get paid peanuts.
