“Not only does magisterial power exist because of evil, but it exists by evil. Violence is employed to maintain it; and all violence involves criminality. Soldiers, policemen, and gaolers; swords, batons, and fetters, are instruments for inflicting pain; and all infliction of pain is in the abstract wrong. The state employs evil weapons to subjugate evil, and is alike contaminated by the objects with which it deals, and the means by which it works.”

Those people were neither corrupt nor evil, they were rightly suspicious of a guy videoing the place for no obvious reason, and he DIDN'T have a reason, he went in there to provoke a reaction and act like a smart-arse!

@@Wordavee1 he didn't need a reason, because it is a constitutionally protected activity as ALL CONSTITUTIONALLY PROTECTED ACTIVITIES ARE ACTUALLY PROTECTED AND PERFECTLY LEGAL. If we don't defend our BASIC freedoms, it makes it all too easy to come after the others. Furthermore what crime is "suspicious" felony or misdemeanor? Anyone can say anything is "suspicious". If we made that a crime then our civil rights would very quickly disappear. I'm sorry that you can't understand why constitutional rights are important but maybe if we become a totalitarian state you will see why.
In the meantime I beg you to wait until you ACTUALLY SEE A REAL CRIME being committed before you call a gun onto the scene or you could be responsible for killing an innocent person.

Whoever has been there the longest (which is probably a couple months) gets the best title? Then it goes to their heads, like that female really thinks she’s in charge of something important and so doe the “captain”. Hobby Lobby pays better, but you don’t get nicknames.

How is it police, government officials and in this case security guards, always use the line "where did you get your law license" or "are you a lawyer", but we as citizens are not allowed to plead innocent due to ignorance of the law? Their statement seems to imply that only lawyers can know the law but as it turns out, the only people that are allowed to plead ignorance of the law are cops. I do something that I did not know was illegal, I go to jail. A cop does something that they didn't know was illegal, like violate my rights, they don't go to jail, they don't get reprimanded, they don't get suspended, they get promoted.

If police forces forced cops to get a real education instead of high school and 6 months or even less in the academy. Instead of defunding the police lets make sure they have enough money to learn how to deal with the public and not to step on their rights just to look good in the eyes of their superiors. Also lets have money for psychological assessments for officers to weed out the ego driven/unstable officers.

I got the UA-cam channel about a 1 1/2 yr ago. I was astonished at how disrespectful most of the auditors were. It was like they were trying to force officers to react and violate their rights. Then I happened on Long Island Audit. What a breath of fresh air.

I am appalled that these employees are so uneducated in actual law. The rudeness and condescending of these employees. I don’t even work in a government building and know there’s no expectation of privacy in public. That security guard is just ignorant no common sense . Press pass and you work for yourself your not a journalist so anyone who works for themselves like a Plummer your not really a Plummer I can t believe what I’m hearing. I guess anyone who actually knows laws have a law license maybe they should open up a book. This was embarrassing for the state of Tennessee .

When I was a hitch hiker for 16 years, people would record me all the time. Because I patched up my clothes with random shirt designs and so many pockets I would lose things in them. But I wasn't ignorant enough to realize that I was sticking out like a sore thumb and tourists always found it very interesting. I understood that while I was in the public if I didn't want to be recorded, I just covered my face. If it was for their entertainment, I would ask for at least 5 bucks for recording me for entertainment purposes, especially when I was playing guitar for cash. But I never demanded it. Only if people could afford it. You can own a home these days and be more broke than most people that are homeless. Especially less then us travelers that travel specifically to make money.

I would feel sorry for the rent-a-cops if it were not for the fact that they were violating Sean's (and everyone else's) rights. Sometimes learning is a painful process but hopefully they gained some knowledge that day. BTW they probably get paid peanuts.

I really appreciate you highlighting Sean Paul Reyes. He is my favorite auditor. It’s a shame that the Chief of the Security hasn’t a clue as to how to do his job and doesn’t understand the law and thus has failed to train his other employees.
