This 20 December 1990 episode of the ABC news magazine “PrimeTime Live” is not just the best network news coverage of the Pan Am Lockerbie bombing. This complete episode is a time capsule, showing how television networks used to do a great job covering the news, before corporate fascists like the Disney Company turned reporters into presstitutes, zombies with sparkling white teeth. This “PrimeTime Live” episode is a follow-up report to a year earlier report that this show had on in 1989 on the Lockerbie bombing. All the facts in this 1990 episode are accurate with one exception. The explosive filled suitcase may have been planted in the cargo container at Heathrow airport instead of being already on board as interline luggage.

On UA-cam, I checked to see if this episode was already uploaded. What I found was that for “PrimeTime Live”, there was not one complete 1990 episode available on UA-cam for this news magazine. Until now, with my upload. So ABC news shows like “PrimeTime Live” remain buried in some archive, probably moldering away sight unseen for decades. So much for the great effort ABC News’ professionals made then to report on the world around them.
