- Comedian, announcer, writer, video editor and overall entertainer are just a couple adjectives to describe Stan. Passion for the sport of snowboarding pushed him to move west to Portland basically with no plan. He got a job as an intern at Yobeat creating amazing video projects which eventually led him to create Last Resort and now working what most people would call a dream Job as Editor of Snowboarder Magazine. Stan found a place in the snowboard community focusing on his love to entertain showing us all sometimes you just have to step back and focus on your strong suits. His happens to be a red sports jacket. Welcome to episode 11 of the bomb hole with Stan Leveille.

@@ssfalk41 His humour and editing can be a bit off but cut him some slack, he's had a ton of concussions. He's got, by far, the most honest and quality board reviews on the internet and he genuinely does care about snowboarding, even if he is a bit of an arse. He recently gave Chris's pro model board a very negative review, so that might explain some of the beef.
@@scangrade6174 for sure. He's the only online source I trust for gear reviews. Still, I can only handle him in small quantities.

Damn I remember watching Hateline at University and thinking Stan was killing it in the industry. It’s crazy to hear how broke and all over the place he was. Props to Stan for not giving up on the dream. I hope he can bring a bit of an edge to Snowboarder, it needs it.
Unfortunately snowboarding is just hard to get money in these days. He is killing it at snowboarder now though. Its dope to have him at snowboarder!

Chris, you should really give AS another try. Is he a cantankerous curmudgeon? Sure! But he gives a fuckton back to snowboarding. His reviews are honest (and his board knowledge is unparalleled, he gives good usable, real advice to people, and last week he gave away four snowboards and tons of gear just to give back to snowboarding. He was offering to send his viewers food if they lost jobs and were broke during the lockdown.
Saw Stan a few days after this at Mt Hood, not wearing the red jacket tho. Great interview
