I really wish they would improve the damage physics. So when someone hits a wall at 150mph, it actually feels like a crash instead of a paper car hitting a wall made of jelly.
@@keppycs Considering it's been the same game for like 5 years maybe at least improve on the recognition of crashes, like when someone rears someone else and then they lose the front wing and a tyre. Like wtf.
@@keppycs it would be fully possible tho, for example beamng with a community made multiplayer runs pretty well with the crash physics it has, even solo with ai it runs well

I'm not saying that the crashes are good in the game but have realistic expectations of what the game can do. The beam-NG engine is designed around physics based crashes

It's much less fun now that you can't fight for anything decent, so lets get the season over with and the upgrades rolling again. Still enjoying every episode for the record and will keep watching, just more interested in title fights and the midfield than teammate battles for P21
For a minute you had me thinking there wasn't going to be a career mode today but no he delivers again. Love it!!! I think the AI change their pace track to track on the same difficulty thanks to them being coded to be slower in braking zones and acceleration zones as difficulty goes down. So at 107 at tracks like Monza with more throttle they'll be faster as less zones to be slow in and tracks like this with loads of corners they'll be slower relative to a human as there more areas where they get limited by difficulty. Just my theory

In my first season, I do a GP mode race at the next career mode track - if I'm too fast or too slow, I restart with a higher/lower diffuculty and try again, then set my career mode difficulty according to that. I then save this value for every track to a spreadsheet, and use it going forward.

anyone else notice George Russell and Max Verstappen got the exact same qualifying time, down to even the nearest thousandth of a second. Hasn't happened in real life since the 1997 European Grand Prix at Jerez, where the first to set the benchmark (a 1:21.072) was Jaques Villeneuve in his williams, followed by Michael Schumacher in his Ferrari, and top it all off Heinz-Harald Frentzen, Villeneuve's teammate set the exact same time too. The grid position was determined by the order of who set the laps, so Villeneuve got pole, with Schumacher on the fron row with him. I have never seen this happen on the F1 game before and thought it odd, especially around Singapore.
Ben, you have to upgrade your quality control and fabrication so that when you do put on more upgrades you it won't fail and you can do more than one in each department

Banking enough resources in season one to protect all your upgrades (and slap extras on unaffected department's) Is the first key to taking the driver's and constructors championships by the end of season two. It feels wrong when you're siting on 6k+ points, but it can work. Reliability department and second driver development being the most important focus thereafter imo.
The supercar event in the daylight was so awesome to watch since I was in Singapore a few weeks ago and I did a track walk in the daylight. It’s much more difficult to recognize everything in the dark.
I only had one upgrade fail so far and I'm at Mexico. I shut down facilities for like 6 races and built up points and when the regulation changes came I was able to save everything and still have enough for upgrades. Good thing you save up some points for the change too.
Are you skipping the formation lap or just not showing it as whenever I skip it I get a terrible start against the AI like you did even though the tire temps are fine so it is definitely worth doing for better starts
On F1 2021, I had 110,000 resource points because everyone was maxed out for 3 seasons so you couldn’t upgrade the car. So when a reg change came, everyone just stayed maxed
I also hope that the AI will be fixed somehow. It is annoying when you have to look before every race weekend whether you turn the difficulty up or down. Too much differences between Qualifying and Race or dry and wet conditions...
The moment when you realize that good F2 teams might beat you on track. But I bet this soon will be the most enormous slingshot-comeback in history of F1 MyTeam. Can't wait to see! 💪
personally think he should simulate or do 25% race for the rest of the season if not upgrading. It'll keep us entertained as season 2 and the upgrades will come quicker. Plus i don't think Ben want's to be sitting there wasting 40 mins doing 1 race for no points he wants to go for points just like we want!
I wish tyre choice would be more impactful. Over the halfway mark on the series. Still not a single driver will touch starting on Softs. I'm just a couple of races behind in my own playthrough and it's Medium to Hard every race.
Second Season my game went crazy all the suddent at Baku i was 3seconds of the pace with the 4th team like 2% below off the team ahead And it went like that for the next 5 races i had no choice but to restart a new season

Please use the resource points before the end of the season, because if you do it at the start next season then it's gonna take a while to become a decent team.
You should change your camera settings it makes you faster and more consistent At least turn of camera movement maybe that extra boost will make you beat alex 😜

realistic damage simulation would be extremely computationally expensive. but it sure could be little better still!
