@.50 she bring a smile with raised eyebrows to the conductor how lovely...i could listen to this 10 more times and probably will
God in Heaven this girl doesnt play, she dances. Such joy, rhythmic sense, phrasing, ferocity. All the technique, but unlike some of the big names with big technique, she plays everything as if she wrote it, with such feeling and tenderness. Crystalline, but never banging in attack...May she live long and continue to bless us with this music.
Oddly enough - well not odd at all! - she loves ballet and practices at home!
@@keithtinkler4073 yeah, i heard her say that in an interview and thought, well she has that intensity and frame of a ballerina...so far she is like the female Richter...exciting.
@@keithtinkler4073 p.s. have you heard Beatrice Berrut. very diff style but i also adore her playing. Bach chaccone, also Liszt Consolations, lots of stuff. not ferocious like AD, but celestial and earthly..both....
Eyton Shalom, L.Ac. some of her arm movements are very balletic and swan- like, like when she raises her arm around 2.46 😊 (I‘m a ballet maniac)

pianists like this make anything they play interesting. this is not my fav LVB at all; but listening to her play i am on edge of my seat for each note..

Francis R Fawkes I think this is a masterful performance, no matter what her age is! I heard this concerto a few years ago played by Daniel Barenboim and until now this was my favourite rendition, but Alexandra surpassed it

Her body language is balletic in itself, and her immersion and enjoyment in playing is infectious, as it is in her Tchaikovsky and Mendelssohn. Beethoven wrote this in his later teens and she catches his exuberance and playfulness in every passage.

Что мне нравится, что Александра играет с тонкой артикуляцией и динамикой (не только в этом концерте, а вообще).
Нечасто бывает, что я слышу исполнение, и чувствую "да, именно так оно и должно быть, как и что композитор хотел сказать". Например, подобное ощущение у меня было, когда я впервые услышал, как Альфред Брендель играет сонаты Бетховена.
Когда играет Александра, я слышу что композитор и она говорит посредством музыки. И это поразительно.Её запись 10-й сонаты Бетховена мне очень понравилась.
Я думаю, у неё получился бы чудесный лирический 4-й концерт Бетховена. Не знаю насчёт техники, но в остальном она готова.

Сашенька,блестяще справляешься и придумываешь образы...Позволь тебе посоветовать: попробуй взять темп,который указывает композитор и ты найдешь больше нюансов и красочных поворотов.В этой части не нужна такая виртуозность...Бетховен любил поразговаривать звуками,а не объясняться скороговорками.Думаю,что следующий вариант в твоем исполнении этой части будет по-Бетховенски ближе для тебя...Удачи! Ты умница!

Ну потрясающая игра! Ну такая потрясающая виртуозность что мне кажется скорости камеры не хватает запечатлеть скорость ее рук! В некоторых местах картинка с фокусом на руках плывет! (Ну только почему 12 летнюю девочку одевают как старушку? Уж простите за замечание ее вид старушки наводит тоску)
way too impetuous - don't feel that this music has such a 'tempest' sub-text. she makes this one sound like an etude in velocity, aloof of the poetry that lies within - pls to let breathe a bit
That might be your preference - but not what a young man like Beethoven wanted - so he marked it 'molto allegro. And that is how she played it.

@@keithtinkler4073 molto allegro is not the same as presto con fuoco, I agree that this is not the proper way to play this. This doesn't make her a bad pianist, she just is not mature enough to play a Beethoven concerto properly... she needs to pay much more attention to detail.
@@pedrogavino4524 presto con fuoco is the 3rd movement of the moonlight sonata, for example. Very very different, if you compare these two tempos, given they are being played well. Alexandra does play a beautiful molto allegro here. I don’t see the problem
A few years ago, I heard Daniel Barenboim playing this concerto, while conducting the orchestra at the same time. He is very dedicated to Beethoven, and he played it in a very similar tempo
