I agree but quite often my friends are usually working when I go so I do also go on my own which is also fun. It’s a great chance to talk to the staff and get to know them. I’m currently planning other afternoon teas with Anne this year as we had such fun.
I like the look of the food. There seems to be a similar difference between a high tea down under compared to London. I didn't see any scones? Is it high tea without scones? Not sure I would ever go there for that.
Yes the New Zealand one was a high tea without scones as such. I've found the full blown afternoon teas not as common in NZ compared to the UK. It's more of a High Tea setup. As you know from my other videos I do love clotted cream so I was a bit gutted as it's so yummy. I like seeing different countries interpretations on an afternoon tea which is half the fun doing the playlist. Thanks so much for your support with my new channel! 🤗
I don't think these two ladies are that cheerful. Going to teatime is a great privilege and they don't seem to be in the spirit of it. I will move on to people who enjoy teatime.
Thanks so much for providing your thoughts on how you assume I’m feeling in this video. Unfortunately mind-reading is a skill I don’t possess. I think just being my authentic positive self is the best way to go. I find that doing playlists on topics I love such as my afternoon tea playlist is a great way to show how people can get into the spirit of how the experience is. I hope you find other channels best suited to what you’re looking for and aligned to your encouraging comments.
