This channel is like a hidden gem, always reviewing cases before all the rest of UA-cam. I have been watching this channel for years now and I have to say, you've only got excited over a handful of cases. I'm excited about doing a build in this one. I know the price is hefty but, with this much features and headroom then it's worth it.
Looks like a normal case in the thumbnail... and then you click the video and suddenly TTL is standing next to a *_comically oversized_* PC case.
30 mins video? hell yeah! time to get some coffee and biscuits
I love this monster. It has so much room for water. I am fed up of all the tiny and mid cases that don't have proper water cooling support
Cooler Master has come back swinging. This is an incredible case! Thanks for the review Tom.
and smashed into corsair 5000t
Great case, and love the fact the Cooler Master always does something innovative to the front of the case, and just not make it a dull rectangular box.
Previously owned a HAF932 for 10+ years that was watercooled and currently a Caselabs M8 owner with dual top mounted 360 rads with extended top, that removal top panel with dual 360 capability on this Coolermaster really has my attention. With the additional rad capability and modern features also, this is nice, but I see MSRP is going to a barrier for some in comparison to other brands like Lian Li 011/XL, which I also own both of those too. Since I've sold that HAF 932, I sorta miss it and this may...just may fill that spot I miss about my trusty 932.
That thing is massive :O
that's what she said
WOW 😮 what a Case, CM knoked it out of the park on that one. I had a CM HAF 932 back in the days.
Just purchased this case because of this review. Delivery tomorrow:)
This case is right up my alley 🤩
Old-school case, new-school interior design - looks like a great one from CM for lovers of bespoke water-cooling. I wonder what you can do with that space behind the motherboard, assuming you don't need it for the HDD caddy. Also got to imagine that EK et al will be looking at that vertical mounting point as an ideal spot for a custom-designed 360/480mm distro plate.
Thanks for the review TTL.
I LIKE ! ! ! ! Nice review ttl, thank you. I know this is an older video post, but I have an interest in this case.
Finally cooler master makes another great case, I have not upgraded cases since the haf x series. This may be my new case!
Just pre-ordered one of these to replace my 17 year old Cooler Master CM Stacker STC-T01 that is still going strong with the same front fans since birth!
Going to retire the old Stacker to be a NAS server. It's served me well as a daily driver for many years and many builds but it's time to put the old girl out to graze.
Heres hoping my new HAF lasts as long!
Name from the past, i had a HAF932 and a HAFX back in the day.
Ive had my HAF 922 since 2009, 6 builds and 13 years later im grabbing this one for my next setup later this year. After so many years refusing to buy a new case, this satisfies that choice for a something new.
decent case, i love when cases have lot of space for cable on the back side and when distance from mobo and roof is big. makes your life easier.
love these long case review videos. TTL does it again
Wow! OMG! This IS the case I've always wanted... Amazing!
Hope I'll get it some day.
Regards from Tabasco, México [Land of The Olmecs]!
i just ordered this case friday, it till be here in a day or two, really looking forward to building in this case!
Best case I've seen in a long time... Great job on the review TTL... Yes I got to the end as well!
The be quiet 901 is offering many more options for building.
This case is amazing olso
Thanks for the video. I have just bought this case recently and this helped me to optimise the case a bit as practically nothing is explained in the manual. I find it very difficult to mount 2x 360mm rads/fan arrays into the top corner on the right hand side of the case due to the mounting bracket for the side fans. I think it's only possible if you remove the side mount, personally. You can comfortably fit 2x fans behind this indent, though.
Big Boy.
Looks great - now, let’s get an update to the HAF XB EVO PLEASSSSSSSE 🙏🙏🙏
Not at ALL what I expected from a HAF and in a good way for me. Great vid as always!
Edit: lol, the Mobo, and PSU look so absolutely tiny in this case.
WOW, very well though out design!
Great case.Excellent review, Tom!
Excellent review and a amazing case 😃👍🏻! It‘s to big for my personal use-case and I dońt need some of the functions. But this case a number smaller would be great!
Cooler Master if you read this: please build an HAF 500 oder 600 Evo version and take my money 🤩🤑
Love the full video Tom😊Gr8 job!
I Love this case and im really considering purchasing it❤️😊😊
I'm glad I brought my ha(l)f liter tea cup for this.
Realistically speaking I literally don't have the space for such a monstrosity, but there's still a part of me cooking up all sorts of ideas about what I could do if I had the space. All in all an awesome case, but unfortunately not for me at this point. Also, an internet cookie _and_ a ding? Consider me a happy camper. :D
I had an old school HAF-X back in the day, as much as I liked that case, this is a huge difference and I like the changes and improvements. Unfortunately, I just bought myself a Phanteks P500A, so a new case will be quite some time into the future now. Another great indepth review Tom, thanks mate!
I used a haf -x since 2015 but got rid of it recently because it was just so big and cumbersome.
Perfect length Video for a in-depth look at this case. 👍
That's my next case when new cards drop, 2 separate loops CPU/GPU 2x360 rads up top and 480 at the back possibly,. not sure yet. Very nice video as always Tom, thank you, oh and btw fans at the front seem to be 200mm not 180 as the name indicates (Sickle Flow 200 ?) ;D
Dam, dat's OG! I remember cool cases like the Trooper.
Best case i've EVER seen so far imo, Beauty and a Beast!!!! Top review Tom ;) O and price from another review say's it's £450.
2 360 on the ruff, it's made for a workstation dual cpu's than. That miroir is maybe to watch under the case to see imperfections or something else on your shirt while working on the pc.
That case is amazing, dream build stuff. Thanks for you vids Tom, always keep me entertained.
i think any company making cases has to step up the mark now after the sales on Lian Li Cases and still selling well that case is nice but alot of builders want smaller cases now great video thank you !
so i got to the end the thing is I have a big case now it is a Phanteks Enthoo Primo - now I am disabled with a bad back so please before you buy consider the WEIGHT of a case full of euipment as I am now stuck with a case which I cannot clean. I cannot bend down to it, nor can I pick it up! I have just got a new case to replace it with a Raijintek COEUS EVO which should be better for me in size/weight. Great Case just be aware it will be heavy! Cookie please Tom ???
I have watch a third of the video and I can honestly say I love that case. Once again Cooler Master have blown me away. Simple yet elegant. Awesome case. Now let me continue watching........ 😁
Great video as always thanks Tom, I like the case but I’m more than happy with my P600S.
The front fans literally say on them....200....that's 200mm....not 180....
This is the haf I wanted when I pre-ordered the 500 back in the day.
i wish you could push the max limit config for this case. Aircool and water cool setup.
thanks foe sharing your ideas
Great channel ;) I managed to put 7 radiators in old Corsair 900D 2x480, 3x 360, 2 x thick 5cm 240 ;) I'm using PC passively only 2 x d5 running. After 2h gameplay i run 15 fans on 700 rpm for couple minutes to let liquid chill a bit. Love this huge cases. FYI your channel inspired me in the pass to do some fun review of " thermolab Trinity" you review this cooling in the past...good old times ...good luck thx inspiration
Nice review, I'm pretty sure those front fans are 200mm not 180mm it even says on the sticker when you filming it. I would like not to see any form of plastic on high end case like this and that screen to be detachable so i can position it in a corner maybe, it sticks out a bit for my taste.
You know, remember the "Ultimate Corsair H100 Cooling Mod" on your UTube, I was thinking why not add that, kind of idea that goes nuts, What do you think?
Bought this case after watching your review replaces my 900D. Which replaced My Green HAF X. Had a cuppa while watching😊 Where did you get that wooden turntable from? I would love to get one. If you could point me where to get one please😊
I think the fans moving would held direct air for a vertically mounted graphics card
Fantastic case! You never talked about the front though!
I hope CM makes a smaller mid Tower version of this case. Apparently it's supposed to cost Euro 700 which seems quite exorbitant but given its a flagship case its a case of flagship pricing.
Excellent review, Tom! I'm going to do my first custom water cooled build soon and was wondering which case to use when I saw this posted. I'll let you know if I do and how I configure it. So many options, it opens up the ideas to the point my head hurts! 😆
This one was well worth the Ding!
Internet cookie, yum! but seriously, looks like an awesome case, probably overkill for anything but a showcase build. Personally, I like your 'brain fart' commentary on products, it comes across as more genuine and honest, in my opinion. I still have a HAF 912, which currently houses my in-home media/storage server, still a great case a decade+ on.
current config dynamic xl with 3x 360mm rads (54&30mm) large e-atx motherboard w 90° ATX connector + 323mm gpu I'm running out of space my 3rd in line radiator (coolest) also is at the bottom which works but isn't perfect it's still pushing mildly warm air into the case rather than ambient, this case should give me more space and allow me to have the rads top+front only or add a 4th radiator at the bottom lol the only thing I'm worried about is the place in the rear for at least 2 if not 3 corsair commanders (I use icue to make 1click-cycle profiles where both rgb color and fans speed change together) will share if and when they come to my market
Great review. I love that mirror and the RGB front with display. Very innovative case. 👍
Function over form everyday , i would love to see if the back panel on the rear of the case as the option for a 5' bay , to add those silverstone ssd cages , this case makes me dream to build the most dumb filled with everything build
The HAF 700 EVO did really well. But that Fractal Torrent is still the "Daddy" when it comes to air cooling. It's not just about size and number of fans even though both cases are on the larger size. It's all about flow. This is where the Torrent is just about perfect. Its beats every case on the market right now when it comes to air cooling and does with complete as shipped stock fans and stock fan configuration. The Torrent also does extremely well when using either a 420 AIO mounted to the front or going full custom loop running a 360 (dual 180) rad at the font and a 280 rad at the bottom. It also looks great with RGB or without.
i'll admit that the torrent is an extremely good case and the out of the box performance is astounding. that said, if you used air cooling on a HAF 700 EVO and installed all 17 fans on it, it would be a completely different story
I still have a corsair 780 t case and I still love it!....but this behemoth reminds me more of a case labs sth 10 when it comes to rad support.
Wow, not available in North America. There are two models available that use the same 700 chassis, though.
Ok this case is so freaking cool! Finally, something to replace my Corsair 1000D with! Interesting to see how easy it is to strip the panels down, would be nice to get a custom paint job done on the interior panels. White all the things!
Now THIS is a proper water cooling case, that could actually hang with some Case Labs models, but brings a lot more bling (and options) to the table. You will pry my Case Labs Magnum M8 from my cold dead hands, but I could *easily* replace that with this new HAF in terms of rad space, and I'm running 4 360s and a 240 right now. Plus this would provide some bling (Magnum ain't pretty). Well done Cooler Master, assuming it doesn't cost a grand Canadian, LOL!
Cant wait to see someone do a custom loop on this so much room for whatever you wanna do
TTL brain fart videos are great! You have amazing ideas and opinions to share, some of which I hadn't thought of. Keep up the good work! Thanks! (now where did my cookie go?)
Thanks dude x
The best case PC...
Very innovative case. Great review. Great channel. Now that being said. I bought a Cyberpowerpc prebuilt knowing the case was garbage. One of the worse cases for thermals I've ever seen. But in this market and having a plan I was able to get a Gigabyte RTX 3080, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 X and an Asus prime X570 Pro for a decent price by buying a prebuilt. After I reconfigured the fans and modified the case. It actually beats the Fractal torrent for thermals. 45c on the CPU idle 45c on the GPU idle 600 rpm. Under heavy load CPU 66c GPU 65c. overclocked. CPU 4400 Mhz. GPU mild overclock. Before I modified the case 95c + on both the CPU and the GPU under heavy load before any overclocking. What I'm trying to say is you don't have to spend a fortune on a case to keep the thermals at bay. Just buy any case and modify it so it works. If your case has a solid metal front take it off and fabricate one with air flow. That's one of the biggest problems with cases right there. If the case has a solid top cut a hole big enough to mount a 360 AIO. That's what a Dremel is for. Use .8 mm stainless steel mesh to keep the dust out and the hot air exhausting out. Intake air from the front, exhaust through the top and the rear of the case. Use 3 - 120 mm in the front, 1- 120 mm out the back and get a 360 AIO with 3 -120 mm and mount it exhausting out of the top of the case. 7 fans total in a mid tower. One and done. Use the money you saved for future upgrades. I've been modifying cases for the best thermals and overclocking for over 30 years. If you're spending more than $50.00 of your hard-earned money on a case you're getting ripped off. BTW the HAF 700 is $500.00 US.
Well this replaces a Desk-Table for Watercooling. So instead of buying a 1000-2500€ Desk-Table its this case. A Bargain actually. Cudos to Coolermaster for inventing something useful. Since the O11 Dynamic this may be a real evolution of PC-Cases again. I was looking at Hydra Desk for my next build but i will get this one as soon as it is in Sale somewhere. 600€ saved. And great review ;)
BIG Question Tom. Can you buy and test see if some bigger fans fit in the front ? In my CoolerMaster H500M I took out the standard 20CM fans and put in some 20CM High air flow BitFenix Spectre Pro RGB fans. Now BitFenix make some bigger 23CM and HAF cases used to fit 23CM fans in the past. I was dreaming and hoping a case would come along from CoolerMaster that fits in some 23CM fans. BitFenix make the best high air flow 20CM+ fans on earth. The air flow is immense from BitFenix.
Great video as always Tom. What a lovely case and how many different builds could you make in side that beast of a case.
great content glad i came across this clever guy total pro knows what he on about 10/10
Great review. Think i just found the case I’ll use when the new ryzen chips come out. Love the front of it, so much more interesting the bland fronts of other cases.
I had an idea. Would it work that you could mount a 360 AIO or GPU RAD on the bottom of the case and have the fans exhaust hot air downwards because there is plenty of clearance under the case and legs. If you could do that, you could still mount the SSD drives on top of the RAD meaning you can do both Storage and RAD both at the same time. It would be such a disappointment if you couldn't do that as you will lose the storage space available here ?
Reminds of my old Thermaltake view 91 case only that was all Glass apart from top panel.
This is like a smaller version but with many more features.
I really like it...Hhmmm you got me thinking what I could do with this now Tom...Damm.
Great video, thank you
What is the maximum number of fans possible and what size fans if you used a 360mm water cooler?
Oooo i like cookies! And this was actually an informative video. Lots of options too. Im looking for a new case, I have an 011 dynamic but I want something.....unique and that not a lot of people have. Im liking this for the Drive cage and the psu compartment (yeah the 011 has them, thats why I like that case too) I also like the mirror, its different.
this is amazing video Sir.
very nice case. love super towers so fun and roomy to build in.
I currently have a TT X71 TG modded .
but im getting tired of it because its an older case and want something new.
Great video !!
Wish they would have put screw holes in the top for 8", 200mm, case fans. I use a Noctua NH-D14S CPU cooler & don't need a radiator, don't like water coolers, they can have all kinds of problems. Biggest problem with a large air cooler is if the fan fails and Noctua guarantees their fans for 6 years. EDIT: I didn't know the case cost $500 U.S. ... Going to keep my Cooler Master HAF 922 for many more years to come, been running for 10 years and the original fans still run.
WOW I can think of a lot I can do with this case!! In fact I have rads and other hardware sitting that are just looking for a home!! 2 Rads in the roof here I come!!
Anybody else get a Fractal Torrent ad when they clicked the video? Hah! This case is pretty cool, just not sure it’s my style.
Well targeted ads clearly - lol
Please do a custom loop in this PC!
That's a HUGE case - I'd get overwhelmed with the options and just do something basic 🤣
As for my cookie - the dog ate it so I need more 👍
*chucks cookeeeeez
Great review, amazing case!
Maybe I missed it, but are those temps under load or is it idle temps?
looks good!
Please can I install power supply with length 220mm in this case?
Now i must think about my Old HAF 922 this thing was big as Fuck at that time i use it :)
Using a old cm haf 922, I'm honestly curious how it stands against it since it's suppose to be in the same haf family
Love your vids and can you make a vid on Corsair hx1200 PSU and test it's protection features
Kinda sad that the most important pieces of hardware, the harddisk do not receive any cooling. Harddisks do contain hot ram chips and other chips. Hate to see a harddisk fail because of overheat. Also the top roof seems to have some kind of dust filter can that be removed ? On the other hand no dust on the harddisk... could keep the hole open, not sure hot much heat will accumelate in that back area... and only 4 harddisks ? hmmm bit low. Also the power supply is in a strange orientation, that might damage the shaft of the ventilator. How these extra brackets can hold harddrives is a mystery to me... Hmm there is also the HAF 500, which seems more like a standard PC layout, reviewing that video now ;) :)
If you have fans in the side they will pick up airflow - HDD dont really get hot anymore though. Ive recently tested a completely passive 20TB seagate and it stayed below 50c
@@OC3D I like having my HDs at 30 or 35 degrees celcius, 50 is way too hot and approaching the damage threshold ! :P*
Just ordered mine and should get it on the 31 of March :-) )))) BTE they are 200mm fan and not 180mm.
Price from Coolermaster is 500$ global and in the US it will sell for 650$ according to Linus
£449 in the UK is the price I was given.
Will be swapping my Lian Li Dynamic for this case. Any L-W-H specs?
When will this be available?!?
I have a custom water-cooled dual system Corsair 1000d pc, but honestly, this case is about to inspire me to rebuild in it :D
I wanna see if you do
@@OC3D I will send pictures, if thats gonna happen :)
What kind of cookie do I got? Can it be a Tim tam? I love them :D
