Amazing ! Do you have any videos of carving female faces? I would love that!
Also how do I send you coffee funds?

Matt, where in NZ do you live. I’m in Waipu.
South Island 👍
Thanks!
Thankyou for the superchat. It is very kind of you 🙂
Lovely lips! I use clay maquettes sometimes too but i can't find what used to be called plasticine so have been using cheap kiddies air drying clay which isn't ideal. So i should be looking for oil based clay?
Hi Claire I just started using clay
To help me figure how to carve stuff stay safe just carve
Hi Claire, yes I remember you used clay for the hare you made, great for getting those expressions correct. It's probably not called oil based clay. My favorite at the mo is clayette soft, the grey stuff I used for the gargoyle was horrible (davinci). Clayette is made by chavant an American company. Pretty much you can keep using it as it does not dry or harden. Hope that helps
Thanks Matt, i'll look out for it!
What great tips applicable to many types of artistic endeavors. Thanks Matt
Yeah gotta keep learning 💯. Have a great day.😊
Cool Matt stay safe
Cheers Rob, hope to see some videos from you soon. 👍
Hell yea
👍🍺
I'm feeling that same angst the gargoyle is experiencing lol. Cheers again for all your guidance mate. Beautiful wee carving
Lol 😆. Yeah it's a constant battle with middle age.
Very good tutorial and video Werk! 👄
The pic in pic reference really helps 👌🏽
Cheers 🍻
Thanks again Matt, just the ticket actually, I was just studying the facial features more acutely in the last couple of days and paying attention to detail. Usually I tend to feel my way along gradually keeping a very sharp eye on what I'm doing and learning at the same time. Your videos are just perfectly placed in the right area for the exact projects I'm also working on, so naturally I am a new fan and extremely grateful for your expertise. Keep them coming.
Cheers for your support Ray, 👍.
This is awesome ❤love it .. thank you Sir😊
Most welcome 😊
Sehr interessant. Danke für das Einblenden der benutzten Werkzeuge.
Das ist sehr hilfreich.
no Problem, thanks for watching
Wow your detail has come a long way Matt. As for my bandsaw saga turns out the bolt/pin that the top wheel was on was faulty and that's why it came off.
Cool, is it repaired now?
@@MattCarves no, I am waiting on a part from Tool line from down your way. I'm just cutting things out by hand at the moment. Going old school lol. I'm working on 2 teddy bears sitting on a rock wall for a friend's kids.
Great job love the music 🎶
Cheers. Yeah it's tough one music, had a few comments in the past about the awful music on my videos. LOL.
Well done 👍😊
Thank you! Cheers!
Brilliant idea with the clay Matt for a 3D reference, good use of your noggin!!! Lips look awesome & looking forward to the gargoyle.
Thank you! Cheers Criss
Wow!
Matt thank you again.
No worries!🙂
