HE was the greatest of Chalukya warriors. Chalukyas are one of the greatest dynasties of India. They laid the foundation of modern temple atchitecture. Even today Chalukya temple architecture has influenced 60 to 70% of all temples in India. Such has been their influence. Everything they touched turned into gold.
Not many talk about this great King from Kannada land Immadi Pulakeshi. Everybody talks about chatrapati Shivaji, Maharana Pratap, Jhansi LaxmiBai etc, Good video, and keep doing great videos
It's because of congress government which prioritized mughal and Maratha, Rajput to keep people doing hindu muslim.
@@Physiqueexpert yes man. Sadly true. There are other kings as well like Krishnadevaraya, Chola and Panyan kings who spread Hindu culture to Indonesia Malaysia and Cambodia. Sadly nobody talks about them as well.

@@siddeshshirsat3967 the great King Immadi Pulakeshi had 100 battle ships in 618 CE, mean 1400 years ago, he sent his all ships to fight with middle East dynasties even Persian too for just helping his 200 merchants of his Dynasty. After that Persian King Khusro became his friend and send Khusro sent his diplomates to Chalukya Dynasty. You can see that paint in Ajanta Elora caves. Most important thing everyone saying about war with King Harshavardhana of Guptas, no Pulakeshi kicked out the Islamic Arab invaders a twice during 630 to 640 CE. Think if he was defeated by Islamic Arab Invaders in that time, what happened to Hindus and Hinduism.

Not only Pulakeshi there so many kannadiga warriors rarely recognised by historians and academic people. Kings like Gandugali Kumararama who had defeated Moghals who trying to enter southern India and Rani abbakka Devi who had given shelter to Shivaji's son by standing against mighty Moghals army.

He was the first who sent a naval military expedition to present iraq kuwait in Al faw peninsula where he defeated then & conquered parts against arabs , then arabs went 100 km inside from the coast area of that place leaving it to him even persia present iran & oman joined with him to fight against abhramic religion & also he defeated arabs in naval war when they tried to attack thane mumbai, really the father of Indian navy. Also defeated all the strong rulers of india including harshawardana of kannauj in the north & mahendraverman of pallavas in the south.

I keep messaging this comment when ever this topic comes the same Chinese traveller's said there were no doors in any houses in Pulikeshi Kingdom. He was the first ruler in Bharat history to repulse the first attack of Arab invasion later his grandson vikramaditya-2 did the same he chased the Arabs till Sindh province current Pakistan and he was ruling from Badami to Afghanistan.
