Great vid. thanks for sharing. I always wonder though: how much time did you spend researching, debating, considering, purchasing, and selling? these were just mints open to the public - so i guess just hearing about them in time to be around a computer at the time of the mint. i don't believe any of them sold out in less than 30 minutes, so there was plenty of time.

That’s tough to do because the dollar value of ETH changes literally hourly. ETH might have been 1k at the start of his experiment and oscillated between that and 4K until now
Ethereum has also gone down in price per coin, so over 7 months, in terms of $USD, you've either lost money or made a couple hundred bucks. That is the world of NFTs in it's current state though.

Something I just thought about that I don't fully understand... Why NFT's? Why do we need non-fungible tokens? People own all kinds of things and have different forms of proof of ownership which does not exist on the block chain, why are we suddenly so invested in the idea? For some niche applications, I get it. If you're using Bitcoin and want to be able to make monetary transfers without reveling your identity, Bitcoin can do that whereas a credit or debit purchase cannot. Stuff like that. But as far as NFT's go and the fact that they are basically synonymous with a representation of ownership of artwork... Just why? Use some other type of database system that has been working for the past 30 years for this kind of thing. The whole idea of NFT's just seems like a fad somebody made up to trick people into throwing money away because it is "advanced," i.e. participants don't understand what is happening but trust that it's a good idea.
