I’ve just got the Action 4 and I didn’t need to activate it, it just worked straight out of the box
I heard it deactivates after the 5th or 6th time if you don't use the app

Got mine ordered, but one question. What are the round blue things used for?
Those are spacers for thumbscrews if they’re not tight enough. I’ve never had to use them.
Its a very solid action camera. I will most likely switch over. Go Pro has always been good to me but this looks a lot better 🙂

Yes it does. You can choose photos or video. Do you have all the parameters you can set for duration and interval

Waiting to see what the Gopro 12 is like. Unless Gopro really step up and fix the common known issues and make some similar upgrades as this. i'm done with Gopro and will get one of these. Be nice to see a way to use external power with the DJI
Hero12: 1 inch sensor. 4K240FPS. Possibly 8K mode. 30 MP stills.

If they also fix their issues besides their improvements, this will be a no-brainer (given the price stays similar or increase just as much as DJI did or less). they can improve what they want, but if their camera isn't reliable, then it's unusable and DJI will still be better...

I am not going to use it for some action but U never know, I am buying it for the quality of the filmong and for the good quality of the pictures as a other cameras can come up to 1000~ of $ with the same quality. It is kind of small to hold but there R a ton of accesories out there. Thanks

Get the adventure combo. Why? It’s better to have more features than standard
I think the adventure, was a nice kit. You get the battery charger, three batteries two magnetic mount. And the extension pole. For me, it was the perfect amount of gear vs price
Yes. It's the only combo where buying it you actually save some money in comparison to buying all the accessories separately + all accessories are actually useful! If you do need some other things later on just buy them extra.
Its great value and the battery charging case and batteries alone make it a great combo.
Upgrading my hero5 black. This or the hero 12?
I also was using the hero 5 black, this is so much better and the rocksteady make it night and day when MTB biking as well as navigating the menus is fast and simple
Dissapointed that there is no case for it like hero11

the photo difference of hero 12 vs action 4 is way more better, i've seen it and differentiate it :) in terms of photos, hero 12 is the best. low light = action 4

I've been thinking of the osmo pocket 3 for walking vlog type content. But I also cycle, snowboard and do summer water holidays. Would u suggest a action 4 also to have the best of both worlds?
Yes, the action 4 is great for both of those scenarios. I use mine for vlogging all the time as well as on my dirtbike and electric bike.
What are the best mounts and audio setup for moto vlogging ?
the frame is only for protection?
yes but also for shooting vertical as the mounts don't attach to the camera in vertical without the case

Lol no, I have not. I think it’s if you take the protective lens off. But not really sure it’s just floating around the bottom of my camera bag.
@@AirPhotography I think you will find it is for grip to unscrew the cap and also offer a bit of bump protection. If this info is false please disregard 🙂
I think you use it as temporary protection if the lens protector gets damaged. Though you lose the ability to use the camera in water.

For battery and battery case I can say yes. For extension rod probably yes also :)

what charger do i need for the battery pack? i bought the adveture combo but cant charge my batteries. DJI store doenat have the 30w chargers in stock.
Any 30 watch charger it does not have to be the Dji Brand. In fact, if you have a MacBook or iPad, those chargers will work as well. And it can be a charger with higher wattage like say 90 w that’ll work, and it will not damage the batteries. It’ll only charge what it is capable of.
@AirPhotography thanks for the info. I do have a samsung 45w that I use for my S23 ultra. current 25w charger gives me about 2 percent per hour. not good at all.
What’s the frame used for if it’s not required?
Mainly, if you want to use the vertical magnetic mounting. Or I just a little extra protection.

Hi man, which should i choose between hero 12 and action 4. I'd mainly use it for motovlog and I already have an one x2.
That’s a tough question to answer. I’ve recently just got my hero 12. Haven’t had a lot of time to fully test it. I do plan on doing a lot of comparisons, but in the meantime, I can say that I have thoroughly enjoyed my action for and has been my go to Camera all summer.

Is it possible to attach an external mic on the case?
No, you would need some sort of cold shoe adapter. DJ I did launch one this morning alongside the action 5. It connects to the battery door or the magnetic mount at the bottom. It looks interesting. I did order one to check it out.

Shaun, you seemed to be using the DJI wireless mic with the action 4? How did you connect it up?
It just plug directly into the side into the usb-c port. No need for any frames or cold shoes. It works very well.
Have you tried the Insta Ace Pro....If so, what do you like better. Action 4 or Ace Pro? anyone else wish to give feedback...Greatly appreciate it!
Yes, I have both. I’ve used both extensively and honestly they’re both very similar in their performance. I tend to use my action 4 more. For every day use. But I do use the ace in low light scenarios it does much better and that flip screen can come in handy in some situations as well. But I do prefer the action 4 for every day use

What is that hood thing for and the plastic washers???
I’m really not sure of the purpose of the hood. But the plastic washers earth amount is not tight enough you can put in those spacers to tighten it up.

The packaging is a downgrade from Action 3. Why are they treating the camera as if its one of the accessories!!! 😂
I wish their frame had at least one cold shoe mount :( Still, I think I'm going to give this a try over the GoPro this year.

I think it has a great build quality myself. I have put it through the ringer and it’s still in one piece.
Love dji osmo camera had the first one only horrible thing about it is the app the soft wear is horrible
