@@devv8029 There's a slight white cast, but that's probably because she needs to blend it into her skin more. Also, I wouldn't say she's pale. I'm Asian and she's darker than me.
Yeah these are pretty expensive but as someone who breaks out very often with sunscreen it’s the only product where I don’t go drugstore. Also since I usually wear makeup I reapply with a powder sunscreen.
cant say it doesn’t leave a white cast when your skin color is literally white 😭 i would love to see this on brown skin or darker & then we’ll see about that white cast.
I'm much more wheatish/tanner (Maybelline concealer shade 40 caramel) and the beauty of joseon sunscreen has no whitecast on me. Even if it does have veryy little whiteish residue, it subsides within a few minutes.
I'm a MAC NC 45 and it absolutely leaves a white cast on me unless I use a tiny pea sized amount. My face gets the worst white-purple glossy mask like look.
You know what else doesn't make sense? Spending money on sunscreens that are way over priced when you can go into the drug store and get a bottle usually 6 fluid ounces or more for around $6 or $7.
I'm usually all for going with the least expensive options, but all of the drug store sunscreens I've tried in that price range are so uncomfortable that I just ended up not wearing it everyday. They either had a white cast, strong/bad scent, or uncomfortable texture. I'm not willing to pay more than about $10 for a 2oz bottle, which is expensive imo, but that price is worth it to me.
@atin4353 the only skin care product I would (and do at times) spend the extra cash on is finding a decent mineral formula that doesn't make me look like either like an orange peel or Casper. Other than that, the chemical sunscreens at the drug store leave absolutely no cast and have the same filters as well as percentages as the "higher end" ones. It's all marketing
Hi Wendy I would really recommend my mums brand decleor, the sunscreen protects your face at the same time keeps it glowing and moisturised at the same time! Please try the decleor sunscreen xx
I have this sunblock that is super good I don’t know what it’s called but it’s a spray for your face and you can’t even feel it Edit: it’s Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Face Mist Sunscreen
I love this series that you made it’s so great it makes me think you hate the products at first but then you explain how amazing they are and I want to get like half of these things that work for me I love this so much you’re doing amazing
Hey :) wear it after your moisturizer and before you put on makeup. Apply it in the morning, and then reapply throughout the day (usually every few hours) especially if you're in direct sunlight. To be honest, I rarely reapply unless I'm outside all day. I use a spray sunscreen to use over makeup to reapply if I am wearing makeup that day.
If you think these sunscreens are good, you need to try the Mad About Skin sunscreen (and moisturizer while you're at it). Game changer! And much less expensive.
would you recommend this sunscreen for oily skin? my skin is literally the oiliest of the oily and i’ve only ever found one sunscreen that doesn’t make me look like i smeared butter on my face 😭
@@epic7224 u need 1/4 tsp on the face for the protection on the label. she actually apply less than she should be. sunscreen is one of those skincare product that is dose-dependent.

try the spoon method. I do that. do three pumps on the spoon and then spread it on just your fingers. you can add more pumps as it depends on your brand. hope this helps
BOJ's retinal cream and this sunscreen is fave great for my combi and sensitive skin. those cheaper sunscreens in the market really didn't work on my effin-sensitive face. so rather use the mid-range/pricey ones than to have a bad break out and/or red face after
Check out Lab Muffin's video on powder sunscreens for why you shouldn't rely on a powder sunscreen alone. Tldw: you literally cannot get that much powder to stick to your skin to give you the protection on the package. They're best for topping up over your existing spf or for mattefying an spf that's too shiny.
Idk if there’s actually a minimal white cast afterwards or if more time is needed for them each to sink into your skin a little more after application bc your face was much lighter than it was before you put each of those on🤔 Maybe the timeframe in which you had to create this short wasn’t long enough to demonstrate the effective for each product? I know many ppl will put on complexion products after applying sunscreen but I don’t wear anything on my face often so I’m definitely interested in finding out if your results are final -even after more time has passed since the remaining white cast will be more obvious on me and on others who are darker than you. Again, I know ur only able to do so much in these short clips but do u recall if there’s a difference over time than what was captured here for each product?

The BoJ is great, and well priced if you know where to get it (I usually pay around $10). The FAB looks super white-casty, especially for only SPF 30, and the Supergoop is way too shiny. Both are more expensive than they really should be too.

for a mineral based sunscreen (not a chemical sunscreen) a SLIGHT white cast is pretty good. most mineral sunscreens leave a much worse white cast
Aside from the mineral suncreen, the other two should dry clear and won't leave a cast. The cast appears because she just applied the sunscreen.
