Submerging the foam in hot water will allow you to bend the foam into position (e.g., around a template form), then let cool or place in cold water. This allows the curved shape without cutting / score marks.
OH WOW!!! 🤯 That's awesome! Something so wonderfully simple can create shapes that can be difficult using other methods or materials. Cardboard, for example, easy to score and bend but only if using the existing corrugation lines. Smaller increments aren't really possible and that can limit creativity especially when looking to create pieces with a sleeker look or higher, softer peaks in a landscape. I'll be sharing this video with my mini friends who have been wanting to use foam board but hesitant because they didn't know how they could bend it without crushing it and keep the creases straight and even!! 3:14
Not in this tutorial. But generally, I do the peeling in two different ways: one with a craft knife and the other by heating. I will make a video on how to do it soon ☺️
