They spread too wide with 1.5 Pro, 1.5 Flash, Veo, Trillium, Gems, Gemini Nano, PaliGemma, Gemma 2, etc. OpenAI just introduced GPT-4o and what it capable of and it was much more interesting and groundbreaking than this.

I remember Google Stadia for cloud based gaming. Worked perfectly for me and many others but as expected Google cancelled it. Google believes that when they are not monopolist they rather cancel the project instead of facing competition.
@@m.3257 I don't think that was the case. I played entirety of Assassins creed Odyssey in Stadia as a beta tester lol. Though with a controller so the lag wasn't as apparent. The lag was the main drawback to this. If the lag was fixed, people would still be using it and they wouldn't have to cancel it. Since it was so bad, it wasn't worth playing on it. And no players means no revenue and no revenue means the product will get axed.
@@SahilP2648 But I played AC Odyssey as well an it worked perfectly. The controller had the advantage to directly connect to WiFi. However, for most games I enjoyed using the keyboard and mouse. I had the game pass ultimate for several months and I had a lot more problems there, freezes, glitches etc.. I would still have Stadia if it was available but I had to quit the game pass. Btw. now I play Fallout NV on Luna from Amazon. Works pretty well.

I am trying to automate the collection of data so I can accept it or not, and then the creation of experts based on data I curated. I get the feeling they have implemented this under the hood. Will probably save me about 5 hours a day...

I'm curious about two things. Aren't these projects for startups, not Google? We expect Google to build AI, and startups to focus on case studies, not the other way around. Also, hasn't Google lost its purpose? They were a search company, but as search declines, they seem lost, building AI apps to stay relevant. You don't need LLM to protect yourself from scam callers. In the Play Store, there are "Phone" apps that do the same thing.

I'm curious about two things. Aren't these projects for startups, not Google? We expect Google to build AI, and startups to focus on case studies, not the other way around. Also, hasn't Google lost its purpose? They were a search company, but as search declines, they seem lost, building AI apps to stay relevant. Companies like OpenAI (Which is not Open anymore) have a clear mission "better AI" like Google's original "better search." It's sad to see Google, a favorite company of mine take this path. They were never a search company and they are not an AI company. They have always been a data company.
