My aunt was a flag girl in this video and I can remember as a 1 year old of her practicing with a broom all the time no lie
This is what a band sounds like. I marched in this band, this was my freshman year. I still remember this show like it was yesterday. Even with the crappy quality in video we still sound better than 100% of the high school Bands today. We all had one goal, but everything we had into our instrument and show, and I MEAN EVERYTHING. When you got off the field you had nothing left, just enough to get back into the stands. Kids don't have that desire these days. Just listen to DHS today.

Their dancers have come a long way. And the uniforms look SO MUCH BETTER now
Off the F-n chain!!! I played football for Dillard 90,91,92 (wr) when the real deal was there!!, so I never got a chance to see the halftime shows. But we heard them in the locker room putting it down. Blue & Grey baby, r.I.p. Coach Gray!

@09mrslick sorry but ely was alway a nice size band sir i was in the band at ely we was like 150 the most but mr. b have done a great job with the band at ely i cant lie about that hes a graet man thanks mr.b for just being you in your wife to we love you guys so much !!!!!

So that's how Dillard was back in them days; well wish I can say the same about them now. Hopefully Dillard can get back to that and they wasn't even that big. Then again who am I to talk I rep Miramar, and back then they was a whyte school didn't turn black until 1993. They didn't really have a band like that until 2001 I believe. Anyways Dillard was sounding good, oh I wonder how Ely band was back then. I heard before Beckford came they was suey with only 20 band members max

all i can do is look at dis ova & ova ans ask ma self watz da diffrence between dillard den & dillard now is it more determination on the field & in da stands back den then it is now is that the fans in the stands back then showed more support back then then now becuase if you hear the crowd in this vid vs all the dillard games i been 2 its no comparison so someboody tell me what is it @bigb426420

Can someone post the Dillard football games from 89 - 92??!! Dillard vs St. Thomas 1991 was a like a college game.
@TheYUNG103.....PRIDE! That was the difference. We LIVE, ATE, BREATHED AND SHIT Band!! Band!! and BAND! We didnt have the Internet, Texting, Cell Phones, Instagram, Facebook, UA-cam....kids these days have too many distractions.
