    Thanks for this and all of your videos. I was wondering if you'll be covering fluids, fire, and smoke without third party plugins.

      Most of those things are difficult or don't come out well without third party plugins. I will see what I can do though!

    a very helpful tracer tutorial thx alot but For some reason, it does not rendering to the picture viewer, but in the viewport its all fine I've tried adding hair material and using sweep both didn't work I don't know what's the problem with c4d 21

    There is still a bug in Mograph Tracer in R25. If you use a spline with a softbody tag and trace this spline, (like here: ua-cam.com/video/Rdc4WYD85T8/v-deo.html) Mograph tracer didn´t update the animation. Maxon know about the bug.

    You aren't seeing traces from the vertices because there are none - those are still platonics so they don't have any vertices in the normal sense of things. Make them editable and you will then be able to trace "from vertices".

      I appreciate the info, but I am not sure that is entirely true. Putting a cube or other primitive in there works as does a Platonic. If what you say is true no primitives would work because their points wouldn't be considered vertices. I just tested again and it works like I expected. Not sure what I missed in the video though!

      ​@@BTB3D You are right! Hmmm, did it perhaps used to work like this? I remember having to always make the primitive editable before the vertexes would be exposed (it would generate one trace from the origin but that's all), and because it wasn't working for you I assumed this was still the case. I will have to dig out R19 and check my sanity. Cheers
